Funner Neutral Newbie July 24, 2011 Share July 24, 2011 what will the police do? summon me or issue warning? seriously I wonder what will they do if I self-confess... anyone did that before? U can try and come back and tell us about it if every reckless driver keeps doing the same thing and all they do is just come to a forum and apologise and ALL is forgiven the cycle repeats I am sure this is NOT the first and last time U have been or will be reckless you know the law if you have been reckess and endangered someone else life than you have broken the law it is just lucky for you that NOBODY in your way reported to you to the police or there was no traffic police in your vicinity if they did or there was then you would be charged for reckless driving Hence, if you are feeling guilty and wanting to redeem yourself go to the police station and make a report i am against reckless drivers because my neighbour daughter got killed some years back in Malaysia while on Holiday
Yeshe Turbocharged July 24, 2011 Share July 24, 2011 Was driving on friday from clementi to paya lebar at around 450pm... as usual... suddenly after lornie... traffic signage says that there is an accident at PIE after CTE (i.e. Kallang area) as i need to deliver something by 530pm... i decided to filter left and exit thomson to skirt using braddell, bartley and upp paya lebar then paya lebar... some cars.. give way... so i managed to filter left 3 lanes within a 50m span.. then just before i get to the left most lane... i noticed this big lexus squeezing on my left from behind.... die die dun wan to give way... i thot he also wan to go left.. end up he just wanna go straight... cant understand such pple.... then on braddell and bartley.... got idiots driving at 60km/h on right lane.. maintaining speed with a lorry on the second lane... as i was coming from behind at 70km/h... the car continue to crawl at 60.... tat is the problem with singaporean drivers... i term these as KOK drivers... like they pay road tax so they shld enjoy the road they want... no choice.. had to overtake from the 3rd lane.... then best... road works on paya lebar on friday afternoon around 5pm... wish that some drivers be more "automatic" and stay in lane 2 if not going fast... or overtaking.... car maybe automatic transmission, but brain is not. forgive them [laugh]
Renegade777 5th Gear July 24, 2011 Share July 24, 2011 (edited) If something unfortunate happens to you due to you rushing for work, it is just not worth it. Your company can find someone to replace you for the work you are doing. But your family cannot find someone to replace the role you perform in and for the family. Keep a cool head and drive safely. But that is his problem because he puts himself in that kind of situation and control if this involves an accident. Much worst off will be the other innocent motorists who did not ask for this kind of treatment but gotten into trouble because of such actions. Who is gonna to cry and feel sad for the other innocent motorists and their children, their families just because of one stupid reckless speeding driver. One moment of this kind of folly brings a life time of sorrow, bitter and painful memories to other innocent motorists as well as their livelihood. Understand some of us want to go fast for the thrill but must see road conditions. If the road is damn clear, race a while still okay. But if you "chew cheng chew cheng", roads still have other users and drive without due care is like sitting beside a time bomb waiting for mishap to happen anytime. One time is enough to bring the world down of any motorists. Edited July 24, 2011 by Renegade777

Patricklyb Clutched July 24, 2011 Share July 24, 2011 To all roadusers driving on AYE/ECP on 23 July 2011 around 9 to 930pm. I would like to apologize for my reckless driving on the mentioned time which I believe I've caused distressed to some road users. I think I almost swerved into a car and saw another car flashing me continuously while I filter to it's lane without signalling. I zigzagged around and tailgated a blue rex/fit and lancer EX without any intention to race as I was rushing for work. But no excuse is good enough for reckless driving. sorry to all..... late is late............how much time you can save driving asa mentioned! late better than dun turn up. use your brain not your dick!
