Tohto Hypersonic October 3, 2011 Author Share October 3, 2011 Yes, ans is A & C. But I find it tough and too time consuming for a 2pts mulitple choice question. Childrens need to have a clear mind to analyse the question.
Ah_cow 3rd Gear October 3, 2011 Share October 3, 2011 Yes, ans is A & C. But I find it tough and too time consuming for a 2pts mulitple choice question. Childrens need to have a clear mind to analyse the question. that is what U feel... for us of course may seem hard but i dun think so for the kids. from my experience in sch, whatever questions in the exam was thrown, usually similar type of question already given to us for practice before that. i believe thats the case now too. thus i believe THEY WERE NOT THROWN SUCH QUESTIONS OUT OF THE BLUE IN EXAM. first time it seems hard, after tt onwards shld be quite easy for them le. if ur kids start to tell u exam questions all too hard for them, i think u shld start reviewing their homework and check if they have been diligently completing it or like what i used to do, go sch 1/2 hr earlier everyday to borrow and copy. Saycheese78 Clutched October 3, 2011 Share October 3, 2011 how to explain the 2nd gen where the two children (son and daughter) are the carrier? Female can pass to both son and daughter but son can only pass to daughters. If this appear in Science exam , this is a very bad question and may potentially kill off a genius in genetics.. This is not science! I know there are some genes that pass down from father to son only.. but from father to daughter? Anyone can address?

But during my time in the p5 at early 80s, where got this type of topic. My kids always said they are better than us as their Math & science are much tougher than our time. Civicblade 2nd Gear October 3, 2011 Share October 3, 2011 Took me 3 minutes to get answer (1) A and C only. I thought Primary 5 kids are taught genetics nowadays.. that is why it took me longer to answer. After reading the multiple choices, I get to realized that this is a logic question, not genetics related at all. It would take probably just two minutes to get to the answer if I knew that this is a pure logic question.
