That must be the biggest faggot in smrt to tell commuters not to break the window and that there is a 45mins power back up. First, ventilation on mrt trains is bad enough when in operations, imagine fully packed train that is broken down and stalled? Second, as i recall the breakdown was a couple of hours. Third, if someone is to faint or die due to lack of air, is that faggot going to pay with his life? Forth, he should be fired along with the ceo cos they are earning top dollars but have no idea what is happening on ground.

If they don't want windows/glass to be broken in the future, SMRT should retrofit small windows on top of all fixed windows; so that they can be opened in case of emergency. Look at super old KTM trains, they have.

tupid smrt tell pple shld not break glass cos they hv backup lights and ventilation but wtf, according to passengers, 20 mins after breakdown, no lights, no ventilation. for this reason (and not breakdown, unless it is proven smrt was inadequate in their checks and mtce), top brass in smrt shld be sacked becos this is not unforseen circumstances. this is something tat can be tested and is supposed to work when sh1t happens! yet it failed.

Must see how many NSFs are stuck in the train or inconvenienced, late for going home or meeting their gfs.

They already said last night that they will close the NSEWL for checks and will reopened suppossingly at 10am but now changed to 11am.

Think not many people follow news 24-7. Probably some still working on sat and by the time work finish reach home already quite late and sleep already. Next morning which is today go to work again, than they realize SMRT train services is down.

 

Not many people are as fortunate as us so free on weekend.
