The group of people could be standing much further away from the croc in order for everyone to squeeze into the frame. Hence, the croc looks much bigger. But i could be wrong.

OK as a comparison, this is the "Godzilla" caught in the Philippines recently:

It weights a tonne & is 21-ft (about 7m plus) long & supposed to be the largest croc ever caught.

 

Presently it is kept in an enclosure some where & (thank goodness) not killed.

Crocs have no natural predators, so they will get really big if they have a long life.

 

Crocs do get predated by a special type of highly obnoxious and dangerous mammals named Homo sapiens, especially those of the Mongoloid species [laugh]

 

And when these hungry Mongoloids catches the crocs, they become like that:
