Guys,

My ride is having tein ss with 225/40/18 tyres. should i adjust the tyres pressure then the suspension or the other way?

Should i set my suspension firm and lower the tyre pressure? because right now my ride is abit harsh when going over uneven road but on flat surface its very firm.

Your setup will definitely give you a harsh ride at slow speed. No matter how you adjust it won't help. IMO unless you are driving in a track or circuit most of the time, in sgp roads if I were you I keep my ride's suspension and rim size in stock condition.

Your setup now is not just making you uncomfortable but also making you tired easily. Good luck with your adjustments.

I suggest to pump your tyres to the recommended pressures, then adjust your coilovers till you're comfortable. If in the softest setting you're still not comfortable, then you'll know that you'll just need to get used to it...

in general, performance should be better on harder settings. You should set your suspension to a hard setting that you can accept. And to correct understeer, your front should be softer than the rear (vice versa for oversteer).

A lot of trial and error, but you can consider investing in an EDFC which lets you set your damping by using the controller...

It shouldn't be. Tein SS is quite comfortable. I'm using it too. I'm on 205/50/17. Tyre pressure at 230. I set my damper to be 1/3 firm only. Family likes it.

It depends on how short you adjusted your struts and springs. If they are all extremely short then your travel will be short and harsh. Mine is just nice. I adjusted mine at BKS. Great job done.

try the manufacturer's recommended first. Adjust your coilover damping using that to see whether you can accept the "harshness." As Forummer has said, Tein SS are supposed to be quite comfortable...

It's a lot of trial n error. Just adjust the damping yourself. It's easy. Then go for test drive. If not good then adjust again.

It really boils down to what you want. How firm or how comfortable?
