RadX Moderator April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 for those PRs converts to citizens here,i would welcome them with both arms and legs because we will be in the same s--t together and our sons will go thru the NS rite of passage. for the other type of PRs who comes here to leech on us,earn our appreciating SGD,push up our properties price, squeeze our public transport and world most expensive roads and once reach retirement they 'byebye' and sell their properties here and withdraw their CPF and go back and enjoy life in their cowboy lands.SCREW THEM. +1 LIKE ↡ Advertisement
Unidentified 1st Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 you are just dragging other topics in to support your agenda... if you think malaysia is fair, you can go to malaysia and become their PR if i am not wrong,he was from the cowboy land.even though some claims he was from NZ which i doubt. JJ_JJ Clutched April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 It is: a) Fair Charge PR more for education b) Fair to give PR less priority for school balloting c) Fair to charge PR more for healthcare d) Fair to charge PR more for (enforced upon them) lift upgrading e) Unfair for Malaysia to charge Singapore cars more in tolls than local cars (according to Cedric Foo of PTC) All these will happen to us too if we would to rob your fellow countrymen rice bowl (something called fair compeitition and Foreign Talents??) The intensity and angles of approaches may seem to be different thats all. I dont know which country you are from, but I know some countries still allow Dual-Citizenship (And maybe you belong to that group?) Trying to enjoy the best benefits from both courtyards?? MX5NC2 1st Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 fu(k1ng moron you must be a PR / FW / FT. No need to get so emotional against strangers. I'm no PR nor FT. Just a quitter.
MX5NC2 1st Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 If going by your argument, there is no need for Singapore citizenship anymore There could be some truth in that, but you'd need to ask the government to truthfully state how important citizenship is. At the end of the day it is the human robots that turn the cogwheels of the economy.

Kratoschumacher 3rd Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 Ummm a more politically correct answer will be... a) If PR think its unfair- Go home... become a S'porean b) If PR think its unfair- Go homee... as above c) If PR think its unfair- Go home... as above d) If PR think its unfair- Go home... as above e) If SG think its unfair- Stay home... become M'sian.... .... ya stay home... Hahaha, this was better than the original, with regards to your reply, I think this is what more PR's are doing now. Read in local tabloids that more PR's are taking up citizenship while most are not retaining.
Kratoschumacher 3rd Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 i agree...all hands legs up...make this place like Monaco...... the FT hub...no shitizens.... Isnt that what the government has always wanted? Heck even when I visited Switzerland and told the local people I was from Singapore, they immediately smiled and said "Oh, the switzerland of the east!" So I think we got that well established, haha

Scoots 3rd Gear April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 If you believe that it is fair to give SG Citizens priority, why is it unfair for Malaysia to do the same? Remember that it is a SG govt rep saying that Malaysia's actions unfair? What strikes me is the pot - kettle nature. It is fair when SG does it, but unfair when Malaysia does the same thing, or you are unwilling to comment. If you believe that what you have suggested is fair, why is it that you have not addressed any of the points I challenged you? Remember that this is as fair a chance for you to validate your point, as it is for us to challenge them What strikes me is that you are just a clown trying to package your own selfish agenda with half truths and twisted logic You've logged in today ~7pm yet do not rebutt nor refute any couterarguments. No need to comment. That speaks volumes
Venco25 Neutral Newbie April 3, 2012 Share April 3, 2012 That is for citizens like me to decide. You have absolutely no rights to even think of that. Get this clear & straight. There could be some truth in that, but you'd need to ask the government to truthfully state how important citizenship is. At the end of the day it is the human robots that turn the cogwheels of the economy.

No need to comment. That speaks volumes What do u want me to address and refute? Am surfing on phone now... It's pretty straight forward. Malaysia show favourtism to citizens in a way that detriments tourists, sg govt rep says unfair. At same time sg govt says is fair and "universal principle" to put citizen ahead of pr, who are far more attached to the country than tourists. My own country does not differentiate pr and citizens - even allowing pr to vote. So I wonder what is this universal thing that is talked about. Many bro here say that pr are just here to milk. THat is not what I have seen. Many are desperate to faster get citizenship. But gov makes them wait long long time. " others" make an easy target of invective. And it is unpleasant. Wherever it is found. When you create divisions and classes in society you breed resentment, which is never productive or positive. The person that you are cursing as a pr today is the same one that is likely to be swearing allegiance to Singapore tomorrow.
