actually you can, but not 205/65 R15, it's 205/65 R14

now your stock one 185/65 R15 diameter 512mm, 205/65 R14 has the same diameter, so your speedo and odo no change [thumbsup]

Abit overkill right? Change tyres become change rims as well.. 15 to 14.

Hi all, just change my tyres to 205/65 R15. Seem everything ok. Driving seem to be more stable due to the big tyres. FC seem to be stable also. Drive for 2 days abt 180km but still maintain at 12.5km per litre.

Just top up my petrol. Still maintain 12.5km per litre. Actually I think won't affect anything. Another good think is more stable driving. Sharp turning become more stable.

The mileage shown on your meter does not refelect the real mileage. Due to a higher OD, your mileage reflected on your meter will be higher, hence you will feel that your car has a better FC.

So far after changing 205/55/16 to 225/40/18, the slight increase in OD actually resulted in a minor improvement in FC. From 12.5km/L on old tires, to 12.8km/L on the 18" tyres.

you are GOD. [thumbsup] but you are not necessary right [smash]

i always believe and share with fellow friend, always stick to car maker recommended size (either orginally fitted or refer to owner manual or door pillar/petrol cap cover for more tyre size and pressure info.

Stick to OE size and go for better or Premium Quality tyre is the BEST choice.

1 sad example last saw a BMW 645 (4500 cc ) fitted with 22 inch well reputable Brand rim fitted with (roadstone [confused] )

my guess the rim could cost up to $1500 @ but just can not understand the owner only will to pay cheap price tyre [thumbsdown]

Tyres is the only 4 contacts you or we had inside the car.

Expensive tyres doesn't mean any safer than cheaper tyres.

Unless there are statistics to prove the higher occurrences of accidents due to cheaper tyres, else it's just a mindset that Expensive = Good, Cheap = Lousy.

each of every one has different definition EXPENSIVE AND CHEAP

accidents can due to many reasons.

TYRE is only 1 of many reason

just like the recent ferrari case shown that the CAR or TYRE is NO good?

EXP car like mercedes is definitely suffer less demaged compare to other cheaper car TOYOTA ? PROTON ? MAZDA ?
