Keyboard letter mess up

Hi folks,

 

 

Recently my workplace fujitsu lifebook s-series laptop all the keyboard letters kena mess up.

 

Example: I key in "I" = 5

Letter P = nothing came up and lots of letters mess up etc

 

I am currently typing this on a USB keyboard, as my workplace IT dept only suck balls to higher ups and i am just a ikan bilis staff which they gave me stupiak excuse such as "temporary use this loh as no computers already" WTF>> :angry:

 

does any IT gunho knows how to troubleshoot this? I have tried uninstalling the keyboard drivers, restarting, hold power button for 30 sec but to no avail.

 

Kam Xia if anyone can help.

Number lock might be turned on. Try dat.

 

If not, maybe someone reset your keyboard format. Can change that in control panel.

Make sure you are using the QWERTY keyboard layout and not DVORAK.

If I = 5 and K = 2 Darryn is right,

 

keyboard numbers locked

 

 

easy to fix.

Usually laptop keyboards have it printed out... e.g. on my laptop now, there is a little numeral 5 printed on the "I" key.

 

I can understand if you missed this out, but your IT dept also could not help you??? Strange!

btw, i tried the above suggestion and run "Regedit.exe to disable the num lock but still cannot..any solutions?

no lar ... i use usb keyboard and iphone to leeply...

nah fn is not stuck...think is the hardware problem...
