No one can tell you that to go to hell in a spiritual way but only go to hell in a Verbal way.

Expect to find all kinds of characters in the church as they are sinners after all.

Neutral Newbie

In my office, there is this lau aunty collick ... happens to be a "siow" christian as well ...

Bloody tulan with her .... plays her farking sermon everyday ... disturbing the others in the office ....

The best part ... when we spoke about the recent incident when a Pinoy was killed by the lift in a church ... she said, it happens becos it is a catholic church ..... I was like .... WTF

These poeple never learn to respect others ...

I really don't understand christians, why do they think they by converting and forcing others to become christians, they are salvaging and saving them? I got a girl interested in me but keep on forcing me to be christian so that I can be her bf.

I had a conversation with my GF last night. When I meant GF, I refer to the real human female with nice C-cup tits and pussy, and not referring to my vehicle. [:p]

My GF has a collick who is a CHC convert. So this collick said that her cell group leaders said New Creation Church is on a "slippery road to the infernos of hell" because its member designed and built the infiniti pool on top of Marina Bay Sands, hence New Creation Church is supporting the vice of gambling! The collick also said Christians should band together to pray for New Creation Church.

I am like WTF. What's the link? [laugh]

So I asked my GF how's the likability of this collick. She said she and others would try to avoid that collick if possible unless bo bian because that collick carries the holy Bible around. LOL

This is scary stuff. I assume the CHC members will rise-up against the country if their pastor tell them to do so! Where's secularism? [mad]

i used to attend the CHC church for a while when i was in uni...during then it was it was still in Lion City hotel. Reason for going there? Peer Pressure. I mean REAL PESTERING PRESSRURE.

During my first day in uni at the Sports complex for matriculation, i was approached by a bunch of super friendly folks at the entrance. - bringing me ard to nus and intro me here and there....first thought - wow, nus is really a friendly uni!

Then subsequently, then i realised.....well, they do have a "motive"...they started asking u if u are free on weekends...not hot dates with chicks....but instead...gg to church with them...weekend to church, weekday for cell group study....and i mean these guys are seriously good in pestering and pressuring you to go.....Calls and SMS. If one doesnt work, another person will also step in. "Dual" attacks

What strikes me most was that those guys and girls are seriously "hardcore"... at the early 2000s, CHC was still raising funds to build the church at Jurong and the pastors were really all out raising funds. It's literally a fund raising campagin. Everything is about money. "We need to build a glorious house for our lord" ....blah blah. So these people that i knew, started giving tuitions after school and gave all the earnings to the church ....i was even asked to do...WTF.

Every cell group session is always - "Dr Kong said this, Dr Khong said that"....Repeating like a mindless robots.

Every Sunday mass is like attending a rock concert - Dr Khong wife will be singing and a bunch of kids behind dancing or playing the instruments.....the only difference, the entrances are blocked by security... they will try to stop u from leaving.

The last straw that broke the camel back which truly disgusted me was during the tithing portion where a bag was passed away to request for money... during that time cigarettes were less than 5 bucks so after buying a pack, i was left with 50 cents. So i gave all that 50 cents to the bag, and apparently the cell grp leader saw that and later on told me that " God is not a waiter. You dont tip him"

And that was it. The last time i ever attended CHC session.

If at any one time you meet Christians who don't say "Jesus said....", stay away from them.

This is really sad to read your post.

Not all churches are like that.

Yah this I agree but some use the name loosely as well.

That is why it is important to walk right with God and not use your brain too much...

wow, you still went anyway. I had to "wash" a relative face after he tried to convert, persuade me to go to church in front of another church mate. as if it was some kind of test or project, he tried to persuade me to go to church. I listened quietly for 20 min, before I launched my tirade. he is still at it, glamorizing how much success he has now. yes, he is from a mega church in the west.

happened me me long long ago also when i in sec. sch. they even came to my house knock on the door...

my mum chased them away.

from what i know they had like quota one lo.. must bring how many peepur etc etc...

and even arranged 'dates'

Those were my own experiences with them. Also Lion city hotel time.

i'm currently very happy with the church i am going to now. I mean, if this church can make someone like me want to go back willingly, it's pretty good imo.

What if these success is taken away from him, can he still stick to God as close ?

A good read is the Book of JOB.
