The STOMPer wrote: "The escalator at Kembangan MRT suddenly gave way. "This happened on Saturday, June 16, at about 6pm. "I heard a very loud sound. "At first I though a train had collided or something. "I went over to the escalator and saw this. This is like car maintenance.....never bother to change and lub the belts/timing chains.....suddenly break due to fatigue/creep stress.....boom....total breakdown. Who cut cost/maintenance untill like that?
