Mounted a keen just now. Any "side effects" to look out for?

I guess depend on the speed n did you hit your rim. I had many experiences with kerbs without any problems.

simply saying..... if any damage is done, the first to notice is the wheel alignment to see if the car is running straight.

mounting rear wheel is not as bad as front as there are less components set up.

No problem lah bro. If yours is those torsion beam suspension, likely nothing will happen if not too fast. I mounted a kerb while reversing, also no problem.

Turning out of carpark should be at a low speed. Shouldn't be a problem.

Like what Hamburger mentioned, just check whether steering can be held straight on a straight road.

If you're really worried, can ask your usual workshop to check the alignment and the undercarriage.

1st Gear

Since it was rear left, maybe car can still go straight.

But if hit very hard, suspension might get affected as well as camber,

Tire can go bold uneven, corner handling might feel different.

..but i doubt you hit it hard enough,

So no worry lah... ^_^

Obvious tell-tail signs of some damage should be mis-alignment. Your car should be pulling to one side. But to have a peace of mind, have the suspension, rim, tyre, etc...checked.

dun worry no problem to other parts of ur car...

but the only problem is on ur rim only, is some scratch on it only....

but if u cant stand abt the scratches, u can go Eng Wah Tyres & Battery workshop to do it as they do patching on scratch rims...
