Gilahonda Clutched July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 (edited) had leased a JDM accord while waiting for the correct used civic 1.8 to come into the 2nd hand market. had wanted to either buy the JDM Accord or the Civic to which I choosed the latter. JDM Accord likes; Superb Handling and Cornering Comfy Seats Powerful Aircon Nice sharp design Rather solid build Can go 180km/hr w/o you realizing it. Very stable indeed. JDM Accord dislikes; Fuel guzzler Front seats too thick and it kinda eats the legroom space for the rear passenger While leasing, these items kaput, battery, front tyres and alternator all on different dates. Alternator cost me bout $600 plus to which I claimed. Rear legroom space is not what I expect from a 2.0. Its quite ok to sit 3 abreast but knee/leg room is quite limited due to the thick front seats. Dated cockpit Civic 1.8 likes; Nice design...after 7 years this FD model is still looking great Ergonomic dashboard/cockpit Fuel consumption is ok Same accessories as the 2.0 version except engine...only applicable to models from Kah Motors Civic 1.8 dislikes; 06 model dun have fold down rear seats Seats not wide enough...prefer seats that support all the way to just below my knee so that won't feel tired on long journeys. Accord have really comfortable seats unlike civic 3 abreast at the back is quite cramp if you have all well built fellas sittin at the back Tried doing 155km/hr and rpm is at 3 which to me is quite ok but car had that floaty feel unlike accord which feels very planted on the road tarmac hope you can decide on which car based on my experience with the accord and civic above Edited July 22, 2012 by Gilahonda

Mariccapell Neutral Newbie July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 I would choose Honda Accord as it is much bigger than Civic and also looks awesome. Its design is very impressive. Its fuel capacity is also great and there is a lot of space available in this car. It is a very powerful car and would be a great fun to drive this car. ↡ Advertisement
