Within limits means legal mods? If not how to define within limits?

Installing NOS would definitely not be within limits.

The current rules are fine. But i don't like the "targetting" being done by TP as per article written. Spend more time on catching those who are actually breaking traffic rules and endangering others or creating traffic jams like beating red light, anyhow park, etc.

People should start considering modding their car into a sleeper. Looks stock outside, packs a punch inside.

I remember reading the news that a Datsun 120Y was able to outrun a police car in Malaysia.

Don't know what is underneath the bonnet.

Assuming that the engine of a bread and butter car is spoilt and needs a replacement. What is the procedure? Does the owner need to inform LTA about the engine change?

want to play, don't scared. want to scared, don't play.

that said, i think LTA should come down harder on errant motorists who modify their cars.

how often have we experienced the silence of the night being shattered by the shrieking of a highly modified car.

I live some 80m above street level and the exhaust noise can sometimes sound as if the car was just outside my window. just for comparison, i cannot hear a dump truck or bus accelerating from standstill. we all know they are very loud. i've heard babies waking up to cry in the middle of the night because of such irresponsible motorists.

well the list goes on... tinted windows, glaring aftermarket HIDs, blinking brake light modulators....

Agree n support you 100%!!!!

for those who kpkb n compare illegal zeng exos with stock sport car, you go buy the real sport car la. guess not many canreally affor one. Talk so much n give so many excuses for zenging your a"affordable" b&b car till the agent also cannot recognise. "sinimasay, ah beng-san. Your car....toyota nei??? Orhhhh....soory nei, cannot recognise nei.

Blink blink lights, to each his own. Money cant buy you good taste. But exos.....no excuse. Dame anoying!

Hope TP see 1 catch 1!

Yes. I used to hear loud exhaust at 2am-3am too!

Even when the car was slowly reversing into the parking lot, it still emits loud continuous farting-like sound.

Can't imaging the noise level when they are running on the road.
