The famous whampoa market rojak (? Hoover?), I'm not a fan of it.

I prefer the Koh brothers rojak at Clementi.

Is it the L-shaped FC or the one with the market near to NTUC? BHS is near to my house..... [;)]

the L-shaped one that just underwent facelift... Lots of taxi lao like to go there to rest/makan until they erected the EPS barrier :D

uncle also got homemade chwee kway. Hi Bee Hoon & mee also nice ! However, I haven been there in about 1 yr +, hopefully still there. From carpark entrance, just go all the way straight, stall is there.

Just to confirm, with my back to Sutera Mall it's the rightmost block and the furthest unit away from the mall, right? [:p]

Char Kway Teow best is penang style to me.

The zion road one is not bad for singapore version.

That one I feel so so leh, still prefer the local type. But my German colleague like the Zion Rd one beri much.

Supercharged

Thomson prata. BAD. Wonder why there are still so many people who go there

Next to PO? That one is way over-rated.

As long CKT standard is above average I'm ok liao. Not a big CKT fan.

Old Airport road the one on banana leaf and the guy fries with goggles, Zion road, Pasir Panjang hawker center (one with a lot of vegetables) are all palatable to me.

The only one i find very nice is the penang style. The Penang place at Jurong Business park is not too bad!

Very few authentic char kway teow or fried hokkien mee these days. When someone recommend to me a new place, I will normally find that they put a lot of new ingredients to make it look rich in liao but the best recipe in the old days is never about liao.. more about the right heat/fire and stock.

Hokkien mee I like these 2 stalls in particular,

Dry type with a lot of prawn taste (unique) - Clementi Hawker Center

Another one is Newton circus, Rt hand side of stores facing the main carpark

The PP one I don't really like it as too much veg liao....

But I find the real Penang CKT in Penang beri nic compared to our local Penang CKT.
