Car camera recommendation

Not so simple.

Even if you have a device to have a pre-set value to prevent draining the car battery, you must then drive sufficient time to recharge the car battery. To depend on the car battery, one day you will not able to start ur car if you do not drive everyday.

So for parking mode to work properly, you will need a big capacity battery and a second one to be charged at home so that you can swap batteries when the other is low.

Are you sure.

My thinkware 750 set to turn off at ???? and always can start car.

Another point inside fuse boxes there is an on/off swtch.

Dunno if this cuts off car cam but it does cut off many circuits.

What is the cut-off voltage?

If 12V and below then will be problem.

My Finevu car camera also got build-in cut-off voltage at 12.3V.

Hi all,

I am looking for a car cam to replace mine iRoad V9.

Looking at the Marbella KR6.

May I know if there is any feedback on it?

please advise

You can try getting it from Qoo10 from MarbellaSG store.

Heard that they have a $50 Qoo Coupon this coming weekend 30 Sep - 1 Oct.

After you offset the coupon, it will be super affordable.

So far I havent heard any feedback on this model on forum.

Hi,

Which is better? Thinkware F770 vs iroad Q9.

Depends on what you need.

If you just need clear 2-channel recording, am not particular about the app UI and am conscious about the price then iRoad will serve your purpose well. In fact, you can even consider the Q7 which uses regular HD rear channel as compared to Full HD for the Q9.

Difference in price between Thinkware and iRoad that I have found and enquired so far is between $150 - $200.

I doubt you will be able to find brand new for that price as the standalone battery alone would cost you $200 and up.

Maybe it has a propriety software to view the video and extract it.

Xiaoyi dash cam Jin Ho. 60plus on qoo10 , build quality better than my old Marbella, got app and wifi to connect n download video, downloading speed pretty fast too. Xiaomi products really good value.值得买!

At first , I thought of buying xiaoyi. but xiao yi don't have motion detection. if i'm not wrong. no choice, went to buy Marbella TX2. Built in WIFI(10M range). motion detection so that if i'm on parking . I'll switch ON especially in Malaysia Shopping Mall. I bought an adapter(24/7) so that when voltage drop below 12V . it will cut it off. Haven't install and yet to try..
