Scoot

My bid for Sciotbiz was successful. Flew back in Scootbiz, extra $91 per person. Push back on the dot and reached SG 15mins earlier.

But collect luggage, wait 20mins. CAAS on Sunday mood. The stewards and stewardess collected their luggages first.

So far so good for me on Scoot. No hiccups at all.

Hypersonic

Took scoot to Melbourne. Arrived 1 hr early! Think the pilot full throttle sia.

In the end, plane also sat on the tarmac for half hour before given a gate to park.

Scoot really on the bola now...

Took a recent flight to BKK and everything went smoothly...

Hope can maintain like this...skali this is a prelude to price hike..

A bit apprehensive as in SGP , too good to be true means boh hoh kang tao… [grouphug]

Supersonic

ah lee said ... we hear you ... loud and clear ...

no excuse for delays and disruptions because itâs a budget airline ... hehe

Let's see how long b4 the next wave of delays occur. Until they replace all the problematic RR Trent 1000 engines, it's a band aid solution

It's OK I wrote to Thai Vietjet and asked them to fly to Singapore.

I hope they can compete with lower prices or same price less clothing.

Slim cut bikini also can.

Less clothing = less overheads = lower fares. Brilliant business model! [bounce2]

Didn't noticed this thread until now...

I have been flying Scoot for a fair bit of trips within Asia and among the budget airlines, I think I like Scoot the best. Never had any major problems with Scoot. My negative experiences were entrenched in AirAsia and Jetstar mostly. Jetstar ranked as the worst experience in my flying.

I always pay extra to fly Scoot-in-Silence.

Arrived 35mins ahead of schedule. Sian. Now sit around the airport to pass time. The pilot why drive the plane so fast one.

Different airlines plan out estimated time differently. For Emirates, the estimated travel time does not include taxi time while airlines like Singapore Airlines or affiliated companies like Scoot include taxi time as part of traveling time. This is why majority of Scoot/SQ/Silkair flights will arrive ahead of schedule.

In the case of Emirates - especially departing from Dubai, the airport is so huge that if there is a last-minute change in runway to take off, it can take up to 45mins-1hr just to taxi from one runway to another runway. Personal horrid experience from a buddy who is in the flight deck with SQ.

hmmmm good business model.... less clothes, no need on aircon so high... save fuel.... then passengers already full by looking at them... no need serve too much food....  though the toilet will need more cleaning, can be slippery...  :nosebleed:
