Nothing to resist.

Over there, it's less than the price of a COE here.......lucky you!

Money is not the only driving factor, there are other concern like practicality, maintain an extra car, when say a BMW 335xi (which is my current target) can serve the same purpose & equally as fast, but obviously lacks the looks & refinemant as the Cayman.

But ya, at least I know it wouldn't burn a hole in the pocket if I get one. No complain here. [:)]

I am Single, but not exactly available. Getting my own place & settle down is in the pipeline in the next year or so.

In any case, I need to ferry friends & parents when they come, so either Cayman or even 911 is not practical, as a only car. Beside, I do not want to drive a cayman or a sportcars during the winter months, especially during snowy days, & up the mountains. I do not think I can or want to fit snow chain on the cayman. Most people drive their sports car, 2 wheelers & converible in the fairer seasons.

Snow is coming as we speak now, its already sweeping many parts of the country, mostly in the south but expect to move northwards.

Picture from today, thats why people do not drive sportscar in winter. Talk about sports car. I think my evo I had in Sinagpore would have come in handy in these conditions.

Not to mention you need to ferry your own stuff in Germany, unlike Singapore, where they send it to your house, & even fix it for you.

Anyway, a new car is not a piority for me at the moment, my A3 does the job well at the moment.

its the backside of the cayman, that i find somewhat, ugly.

but otherwise, its gonna look too much like a 911 already, haahah

Bro. If you don't mind I chip in. To each his own, I personally live the Cayman, as a whole, back, front, side,

the 911 is alright, the back if I were to say, looks too "retro" to me, and I, again, personally prefer the sportier

Cayman's look. The side vents drive me crazy, reminds me so much of the 512TR/512M. [inlove] [inlove]

The vents are like shark gills, used specifically for breathing

And how she glides thru the road with ease.

Turbo or not, I doubt it makes difference driving in SG,

We hardly or never get to deploy, the sight of such a majestic

Beast already intimidates the hell out of other road users, even

When you didn't have any intent to. :D

Actually thats why i like the 911. It is so unassuming and low key.

Doesnt catch too much attention and doesnt get in your face.

Like a friendly neighborhood goodie sportscar
