How to see whether the video is 24frame or 30frame?

Thanks

Try right click on the file, go to properties, click details.

Most video players also can see by going to it's player's drop down menu. File> properties.

For quicktime it's window-> movie inspector.

Turbocharged

Maybe when your car is parked, and kenna hit and run by oncoming car and number plate can only be seen at an angle. That 6 extra frames could make a difference.

Still makes no point for me. My ITB front and rear cams are for on-road coverage.

Unfortunately, my car usage doesn't permit the usage of Powermagic type of devices as it isn't driven daily and I'm not that hardworking to deal with external battery.

So parking mode is out for me. Anyway, it's just one of those things I probably have to be prepared for as a car owner. Otherwise, I might as well employ a full time chauffeur.

Of course, the 24fps non-SP is sufficient for daily driving. Even for my example of being hit when parked it's only small percentage.

Do consider power magic or pro version that has a on/off switch, because even when parked outside you can make use of the camera. Then when parked at home, turn it off, or just use it's minumum 6 hrs mode so it won't use so much car battery.

Hi mcf forumers... I am also another proud owner of the itb100hd.. Might decide to get another one for my rear.

Can I check for the itv80, even when I unplug the power to my itb100hd, the power will still be running? Coz I'm using the parking mode but when I rch home sometimes I won't have the need to on the parking mode?

Or anyone has installed a switch on the itv80 to power on/off the powe supply?

Thanks in advance for any advise

Hi all,

ever encounter this problem ?

I cannot save the setting on the player itself

1) I click on setting

2) change and click save

3) Go back to setting, the changes have not take effect

Another question, where do I update the firmware?

Bro thanks for the response... Anyway that can resolve this? Coz most of the time I use park mode for parking outside other than home. Thought of installing switch but I know that switch can be applied to camera but dunno whether can fix on the itv80 instead.

I got mine from applect.

try this. after saving your settings, eject your SDcard and insert into camera.

Let it detect and boot up. After the usual korean-speaking-thingy comes on,

unplug power cable.. let it power down. remove SDcard and insert into PC and

check the settings.

4th Gear

Some of my videos are saved as an 'event' file, not the normal files. Checking these videos I didn't find anything out of the ordinary, not even hard-braking was applied in the video.

Should I set the sensor settings to less sensitive? Will these event files be over-write or do I need to delete them myself when the SD card is full? [confused]

Can.. U can connect the switch to off the power to the powermagic.

I think the guy put the switch between the car battery and the power magic. So, when I off the switch, the power magic also cut off. When i leave my car for a while and off the engine, the switch is on, the powermagic got light and the car cam still running (FYI, I using China brand car cam now not yet change to the SP model [:p] ).

Haven't got to the stage where the switch is on and the powermagic cut off to save car batt current.

You pull out cable, people can see that it's not connected.

If cable is in while camera off, still can "wayang".[:p]

ya lah bro...

its not as if im going to soon lee again. but if any bros here hv just install a switch only. can share how much it cost. thanks

yo bro, i hv E videos too. when i view them, its usually bumps on roads or maybe some hard cornering or sudden movement.

my setting is less sensitive thou.

i believe video files are overwritten. u can set them at settings.

i post some time lapses in my videos. i had my settings at the ratio mode.

since setting them back to overwrite old files, i hvnt encounter any time lapses.

I have installed a switch in my setup. The switch is inserted in between the car battery and power magic. For example, in situation where I feel the car is parked in safe position (e.g my multi-storey) carpark, I will turn off the camera via the switch. By the way, I did it at Foon Audio along Macpherson road.

The problem with pulling in/out the cable, after a while, the connection become loose. Changing the cable itself is cheap, however, the time taken to change the whole cable is time consuming. Similarly, the pull in/out method may result in a faulty unit (in other forum reported) due to the proximity and similar outlook for both DC-IN and VIDEO-OUT port on ITB-100HD model.

For SP set

A) Very talkative. Not use to it. While driving, they announce something. Dont know where goes wrong. Must go and learn Korean language.

B) A white blinking bright LED light (for SP set) beside the len. I have to use a 3 pieces of overlay sticker to cover the light.

Overall, HD set is OK.

But I will recommend the HD set to avoid the above two things and it is cheaper than SP.

You mean the above can't be disabled in the software setup ?
