Bikers drive safely...

A plea to all bikers.. Please ride carefully... And to all drivers, open ur eyes and be alert... In my fb, frens have posted 2 different accidents..

 

1 fatal and the other unknown.. So drivers, please be alert when turning and look out for them..

 

Sometimes, we look out for cars but we missed out these bikers..

Either the bike is solid or the RX-8 has very thin metal sheets.

The picture is almost unbelievable.

I read the news on Wanbao and both the legs of the biker was severed.

rx8 like all jap cars have thin plate.if it's r8,probably only the bumper drop off.

i have access to some insurance claims files.an asian car made crash at 50-60km/hr the impact and damage is same as a conti car made crash at 90km/hr.

that's how soft their metal is,so next time when you see a jap car with badly damaged front.it doesn't mean it crash at high speed.

Was behind this rider with his gal friend on first lane just now, rider just keep turning around talking to the gal, swaying in out of lane 1 & 2......

 

For drivers, it is somebody life...

 

For riders, it is YOUR own life....

Met with a serious bike accident around 2004.. collided with a car driven by a 18 year old girl at a junction.

 

Fortunate not to die..the road to recovery, the process, having to settle with TP, lawyers, away from work, physical injuries..is very painful.

 

Although received compensation for the accident..will nvr wanna go through that journey again.

Yep for driver..most prob...fined, suspended from driving, higher insurance premium.

 

For rider..physical injuries which could be permanent or worst..death.

i just witness a ocs courier biker beating red light at a traffic junction, dont know wat is he thinking of

I was in the same exact situation.. I hi-beam the taxi and he ignored my hi-beam and proceed to turn.. But he did not noticed there is a bike next to me.. Lights were in our favour.. And i manage to brake but not for the biker.. Flyy 50 meters away...
