i still think TW can do a job for us.... also we have to bear in mind the HG quota

 

$140k per week to maintain HG quota is too much la.. now with laca, giroud, welbeck, sanchez, iwobi, ozil we have more than enough forward options. but too bad no one is ever gg to come in for walcott so we will be stuck with him

i accept the truth now.. if he still plays it's a bonus... if he really don't play i won't be too sad mah... 

 

But heard that he's alrdy in full training and will be at least on the bench this weekend vs pool leh...anw transfer window gg to end soon....endure.....

i suspect he will recover fully by 31st lol.... now is put him on bench to prevent another loss like stoke lol

Quite appalled at the lineup, esp the 3 CBs selection. Not sure why Ah Seng insist on playing monreal in the CCB position. in the end out of 3 CBs, 2 of them are natural LBs. And Mustafi just came back. With Mert on the bench, why can't play Mert in the centre, when Monreal clearly plays better as a LCB?

 

Seo's best position is LWB/LB, shd play him there. Instead play a RB (Bellerin) as a LB and Ox as RWB. I think Ah Seng really likes to play players out of position more than any other manager I know.

 

And the substitutions is shocking too. Sub out Xhaka and Laca which have been playing well, for Walcott? I can't see Walcott touching the ball at all in the last 15 mins, and we all know he is ineffective against a packed bus. All the decisions are really baffling... in the end more than 70% possession with no output...

 

This lineup is really worse than the previous one I posted after the Stoke game. Why MUST he keep playing people out of position? Bellerin as LB just to let Ox has his RWB when the bundesliga LB of the year is on the bench? Play Danny Welbeck even when our record transfer signing is on the bench? We shd have taken advantage of Pool's defending and also Karius playing GK.

 

Bellerin has been piss poor for so long yet he starts, and in unfamiliar territory as LB. His first touch is so horrendous now it almost gifts the ball to opposition every time after his first touch. And danny welbeck is all industry but nothing else. I can't rem the last time he stayed on his feet when shooting. And our back 3 is damn poor too, with monreal main culprit. Can't believe that with our 3 CBs we gifted Pool 2 goals from headers. CP gave pool such as hard time, while we are just inviting them to raid.

 

I think he is really clutching at straws now. Hopefully this lineup is just his last ditch attempt to keep the wantaways. or as he hinted after the game there were private issues before the game maybe similar to the training session bust up last year where he benched Sanchez when brought him on in the 2nd half to salvage something. Ironically it was the same fixture but this time chose to start Sanchez instead?

 

We have not won at top 6 clubs for close to 3 years now, and regularly get hammered 4-0, 5-1 by any top 6 sides. Something is really wrong... even Ian wright, TH, and martin keown also cant bear watching the game...

Non-existent midfield. Team has no hunger.

Ox is not a complete player he does things via brute force that may work a small amount of games. Sell him.

Welbeck performed poorly. He's playing with Ox because they are English? Baffles me. Sell him also.

Given our suicidal tendencies might as well bring on Risse Nelson and other promising players.

Please solidify the backline.

How many more years must we wait for a new coach?

This reminds me of DM's last season at Manu, and Mourinho's last season at chelski. Difference is, the owners will not hesitate to fire the manager. The players knew this, that's why they are leaving because that's the only way change will happen. Those that not leaving are just happy to sit on their big fat wages and know they are in danger of being 'retrenched' at all. Like Henry says,

Ah seng put faith in ox and ozil, now ox wants to leave anyway and the ozil still havemt sign extension even though he loves the club ( even thoigh ozil ia not playing well!).

the problem is he likes to play players on last year of contract to make them stay... 

 

defence is still as naive..... first team line up very suspect against pool... almost like kelong
