    Yes we are in the same shoes, driving and a sedentary job. That's why weekdays I do a 30mins walk on the treadmill first. So when I reach work will be close to 4k steps done. Then hopefully by end of work, will be around 6k-7k... So just do another 20-30 mins before dinner gao dim.. Weekends easier to achieve...

    I read somewhere that compares NEAT vs proper cardio session. Non-exercise Thermogenic Activity or NEAT involves activities of the daily routine which results in energy consumption and weight loss. These tasks can be performed on a regular basis and can be used for obesity control So say the aim is 10k steps a day. Person A achieves it via NEAT, ie his daily life without purposely go gym or park to work. So his 10k steps is quite evenly spread out throughout the day, While B achieves 90 % of his 10k steps via cardio in the gym, and once the walk is over, he will leave. Can't rem the comparison results though lol

    I think different people will lose weight faster on different parts. Most people will find the waist lose weight last. I am one of those unlucky few. For me, I will lose weight on my arms, legs first, then waist. So while my waist has shrunk, so has my arms, legs and upper torso... haiz..very very difficult to maintain muscle mass while losing fat...

    SU is doing well, not a gimme game. Sad reality is that even if we win, we will still be behind SU in the table. And Auba is out for 3 games, so don't know where our goals will come from. Anw will be behind the team! COYG!

    VAR supposed to make the game more impartial but in the end is still the referee that makes the call to use VAR or not. I also agree that teams shd be given a "challenge" like in Tennis to review fouls etc. But not too many as VAR slows down the game, maybe one "challenge" for each team.

    Disappointing draw. The way we conceded to a deflected shot.. Aubas red compounded our misery.. Now the next 3 games will be a severe test for us. Without auba, really can't see where the goals will be coming from

    Another CS for us. 1-0 to the Gunners. Though I saw from the highlights we were actually quite poor in the 1st half. Had Leeds been more clinical we will be at least 2 goals down in the 1st half. Interestingly though, Leed's coach is Marcelo Bielsa, Pep's mentor. And Pep is Arteta's mentor. So is actually a game between the grand master vs grand student. Therefore the way Leeds played in the 1st half is hardly surprising. Thankfully we emerged winners and Rob Holding also came through unscathed. So at least we have few coming back to fitness especially in defence, Holding and Bellerin. Onwards to the next game vs Palace. COYG!

    I think walking is the best way to start with. Just try to walk as much as possible. I did nothing in 2 weeks just walking 16k steps daily on a crap diet and lost 2kg. But in SG is difficult as I found out as it is so warm. I will suggest slowly working up to 10k steps a day, which is the recommended by our health authority too. Maybe try walking 20mins in the early morning ideally fasted, then another walk in the evening (before dinner) will help tremendously. This shd give you around 5k steps.     nothing much going on around now.. only heard xhaka wants out and Hertha Berlin wants him too. But we are so short in MF not sure if it's a good thing to let him go now. Depending on Chamber's injury, I think we will need a good CB. Not those stop gap kind, but really a long term one. Then next season can pair with Saliba. CM also need reinforcement for obvious reason. Of not I think xhaka/Torreira is the best pairing for now. Regardless, i do not want any of those Dennis Suarez, Lichsteiner, kim karlstrom kind of signings. totally waste of space. If nothing happens I rather just give the academy kids more gametime. This season is writeoff anyway, so might as well use this opportunity to give the kids some valuable gametime.

    Happy new year to all! As the year is drawing to a close, it's good to do a stock take to see what we have gained, or lost for some of us. This is a very special year for me. While I'm have been physically active all along, but it's the first time I have set target and be accountable for myself, after seeing my weight hit 83kg after CNY. So I joined anytime fitness which just opened ard my hood. Also experimented with IF and experimented with different styles of training. As I weighed myself tdy, I'm at 74.3kg, lost almost 9kg, which is my weight 10 years ago. Just brought my pants to reduce 2 inches as they are really too loose now. The tailor asked me why I go buy pants so big haha. Hope to improve further in 2020. Wishing all a healthy year ahead!

    Yes and that too. FL subbed in Jorghino before HT. But he shd get a 2nd yellow for pulling down Guendouzi. Then minutes later, he scored. Really is no justice! 😭

    Disappointing defeat at home. Team was playing and defending well until the mistake from Leno. The first 30 mins we played to plan and was in control. But somehow after that it was all Chelsea and we were being dominated. Most of our players were totally gassed and I worry this could be due to lack of match fitness. They have lepak too long and suddenly got to intensify their game is too much for them physically. And some of them like Laca are suffering from lack of game sharpness, terrible first touch and hardly can do anything right. Ozil is playing well the last 2 games, but he was subbed in the final 20 mins. I think most of our players are totally shaq out from 70 mins and could do a rest like Ozil, but we can only have 3 subs. hope chambers injury is not too bad, if not we will need to play mustafi against Manu 😓
