YOU should consult(reputable) or refer to your car owner's manual your wont go wrong

Most Veh mechanics are not very familiar about car tyre specification.

for your car i am very sure if you up size to 19" rim and tyre still wont have any rubbing problem

I also can tell you if you stick to 15"rim but wrong size tyre can also cause rubbing problem

My Allion is going for 4years, time to change tyre. but the stock size is 185/70/R14.any recommendation ?

That size i upgrade to 205/50/16.

Now on conti max contact 5 n A.drive R1.

I prefer e R1 n wil change e conti max ctc 5 to it when its worn out.

Neutral Newbie

Hi,

I just brought 08 Aillon 1.5 and the rim is 14 inches. Does the stock rim comes with 14 inches? Should I change to 15 inches rims?

Thanks.

PM-ed you on recommendations!

Any recommendations if I'm changing new tyres for an estima?
Stock is 225/50/18... I'm looking for slightly wider, less harsh and quiet types.

Mr Hamburger, we can not say now aday who use 14" ?

if the car is designed and for Eco driving , thus it has to equip everything basic to meet the indented purposed

once in your hand you can do what you want.

Example the old o Altise from Boneo is equipped stock with 14" wheel and many did enjoy the ride comfort and FC

Most PI car seller will bring in basic package because of COST (we are cost sensitive)

My opinion is , if are on Original Toyota rim the width probably only 7inch wide.

Try use back 225/50/18 Best

If after market rim likely will be 7.5 to 8.5 width you can take 235/50/18 not a issue or alternatively you can go 235/45/18 will looks more Chio

Tyre size is important as tyre.

Only 4 contacts between your car and road

How do we know that a tyre would not be too wide for a car? Like it might touch the fenders when turning? Do people turn the steering wheelnto check on the spot?
