This is truly a strange story of a frustrated / deranged local. Based on his pic, I think he is a bit challeneged and needs psychiatric help.

He tore open hundreds of packages on the shelves of supermarkets in Tampines to vent frustration after failing to land a job. Unable to sell the damaged items, the supermarkets had to write off a total of nearly $800 in losses.

Even after being charged in court, Ng Peng Soon, 40, continued his vandalism spree.

In a district court on Friday, he pleaded guilty to two new charges of committing mischief. Earlier on Dec 24 , he had admitted to five counts of mischief and three counts of theft. He had stolen a bottle of brandy and computer games.

He was sentenced to a year in jail on Friday and the one-month jail term for theft was ordered to run concurrently.

Details of his earlier packet tearing spree is found HERE. I am just thankful he didn't vent his frustrations by scratching cars. [sweatdrop]

Now he can join the yellow ribbon project when about to release.

Cannot become packer because will rip out packaging when stress.

Cannot become butcher...

Suitable to join reno contractor for hacking / demolition works.

if the yellow ribbon project works, i doubt he would have ripped open packets to begin with.

Ex-convict cannot get a job. What other option does he has left? It's quite sad really.

Not sad at all. This chap is a recalculant offender. Jailed 6 times since 2003. Why would anyone want to take a risk hiring him?

He should have thought about all these before committing those offences.

Seriously....he is suitable for AhLong runner job.

Just too bad he did not get the right recruitment agency to help him.

He should have seek the Massage Uncle agency, looking for the perfect job for him.

Know how to steal brandy and computer games......I dont think he is disadvantaged in the brain capacity at all.

Some are actually mentally ill, but either borderline undetected, or never checked and diagnosed.

I've met some really weird behaving people out there, i.e. their reaction is totally irrational and out-of-the-blue, so I believe there are quite a number in the above category.
