Took out the aircon filter behind the glove box, wash it, dried and use those antibacterial spray on it. Finally place 3M home aircon fiiter on it. No more odour! Im a germs freak, recently i bought a boot tray after i disinfect my whole boot.. Read some article about nasty germs and bacteria that exist in car and its worse when people eat im the car yeekks... Do change your aircon filter once a year at least.. It will be disgusting to breathe in the mold pores thats where bad smell comes from.. Boleh Neutral Newbie June 17, 2013 Share June 17, 2013 Happenned to me once...not sure whether its the same or not. My faulty part was the wiper liquid hose connector that leads to the rear wiper washer. When I activate the rear wiper washer, water will squirt out from underneath the steering wheel area. One of the hose connector came off and its quite difficult to reach to DIY it. Had it fixed when I go for my servicing at TTS service centre.

Yours CPS or CFE?CFE can take 17 without much problem. For CPS your 17 width cannot exceed 7.5 inch.16 is better for CPS,Just nice with 16x7 with 205/55-16 tires

Meganut 2nd Gear July 12, 2013 Share July 12, 2013 (edited) Hi guys! going for my 40K servicing.Still not sure which grade of engine oil to use. Any suggestion.? If any of you all have done the 40K servicing what is the price range.? You bought second hand or brand new vehicle? second hand sometimes meter might been tamper with so you might want to do a more thorough check during servicing. If yours is new car then its ok... 10k- normal servicing 20k- full servicing (engine oil, plugs, oil filter, air filter, gearbox oil, brake oil, power steering oil) 30k- normal servicing 40k - some people do normal some do full service, cos gearbox, brake n steering oil usually 20-30k change 50k- full servicing if 40k is normal service... usually will change coolant as well 80k - Major servicing, full service + timing belt, waterpump and all the belts change Just a guide which Proton workshop has told me to use as a guide... if you take very long to hit 10k, like 2 years, Proton suggest using mineral oil (5000km change) so that you change at shorter interval and change at least once a year... though they recommend 6 months or 10k whichever comes first, cos not all would change at 6 months (though some people are rules abiding and they follow strictly.. know of a guy in msia very law and rule abidding, every 6 months service his car faithfully even when he use 20-30km cos his office is behind his home nia.. his second car is used only when his main ride is in workshop for repairs haha) Engine oil to try- Redline, Motul Good known engine oil- Mobil and Shell (no problem, use with confidence) Grade usually w30 Pricing depends on where you service and whether you do major or minor servicing... Not sure if proton sg allow u to bring own oil, proton jb not always allow though some service adviser are nice but usually they make you use their oil (i used to service all my cars in proton JB workshop.. my corolla, getz and perodua, then in the last 2 yrs proton disallow their workshop do other cars... they are really very good in workmanship and knowledge n they allow own engine oil, now abit harder le) Highly recommend Proton in Skudai for servicing, they are really good Edited July 12, 2013 by Meganut ↡ Advertisement
