Ya, I was not at fault so I wanted to claim third party, but at the same time I also worried the other driver may spin some story and turn the table ard.

 

The IO has not interviewed me yet, because accident happen on Wed night. Thur and Fri PH.

But already give me statement to the police station.

Don't worry so much. You should concentrate on resting and have a quick recovery.

 

Let the IO do the investigation. They are experts in such cases, they know what needs to be done.

 

If say the truck driver had admitted his fault, or the IO had decided its the truck's fault, then maybe need not even need to interview you...

 

For the WS and insurers, also let them do their job. They would also know what to do.

So if not clear cut, and you claim from 3rd party, in the end lost, then how? Have to fork out cash return to insurance?

Good Morning.

If you're claiming 3rd.Party Insurance, firstly the workshop must get repairing car damage values with Insurance surveyor and will make you sign a consent form to Pay for the total bill before repair, secondly your workshop shall proceed filing 3rd.party car accident insurance claim against the other driver Insurer and carry out the repair as well.

When 3rd.party Insurer contest your car damages claims in court and wins over your case ? You need to pay to your workshop total bills and plus whatever counter claiming by the 3rd.party Insurer and all court charges too. If you won the case of the 3rd.party insurer contest ? You should pay nothing and collect your car upon repairing completion.

Your own Car Insurance would not do anything's about you and don't care about you, if the 3rd.party insurer files claims against them as their 3rd.party claiming contest against you in court case arises, your car insurer will notify you that you are fully LIABILITY of the damage and compensations.

Everything's can be compromise but except " You Mustn't At Fault In The Accident "

I do not meet the 25 post quota to start a new thread so I'm trying my luck here.

 

I will like to appeal for witnesses to this accident:

 

Date: 23 Sep 2013

 

Time: Around 7.20am

 

Location: Canberra Road Traffic Light Junction

 

Vehicles: Light blue Hyundai Getz and green bus operated by private bus company

 

My father's Getz was hit by the reversing green bus but the bus driver turned around to demand for compensation and his bus company filed a case against my father. We appreciate your help if you have witnessed this accident.

There are six or more traffic junctions along Canberra Road, which one u referring to?

 

I pass by the one along Canberra Road at Admiralty Drive, Sembawang Way, Sembawang Vista and Sembawang Ave ard 6.50-7am. I did not notice any accident then.
