If you want to buy make sure it comes with provenance.

Many fakes out there.

The first one on top looks fake already.

The explorer dial also looks fake

For co branding vintage Rolexes.

Expect to pay many many ti ez

Like a sea dweller 1665 great white tiff & co would be about $80k to $100k

A solid gold co branded Daytona could easily be $200k to $250k

Anyway, prices are very subjective to condition and documents , even prior ownership.

Since there are so many watch experts here ; Will an automatic watch slow down in cold weathers like 3-4 degrees centigrade; Recently I went to Turkey and of course temperatures fell to like even -1-2 degrees in the morning or late at night; Somehow my watch (not a Rolex) slowed down by like 10-15 minutes almost everyday and I had to keep re-adjusting it back again; took it off only at night between like 9pm to 7am (was working fine as in - it had not stopped functioning) Lucky for my iphone to check time on parallel as I might have been late for my tour..... and look not so good;

Yes due to contraction and expansion depending on the tempearature and the quality of the movement (materials used and technology to compensate temp change and differences usually in the balance spring and the oscillation mechanisms)

Rolex is good enough for a very wide range of temp.

Not sure about othr watches.

Maybe mine becos jepun brand one that’s why , but jepun also got extreme low temperatures one ..... so should have been accounted for ......anyways it’s this cheap or regular watch brand that I wear when I travel or maybe I need to get it serviced as it’s already over 20 years old and has been faithful all this while ; have even gone swimming ( short while like 20 mins) and white water rafting wearing it about 3 years back

The omega seamaster's patented metal strap is crap. The clasping mechanism came off so many times causing my watch to dangle. Does anyone know a cheap place to repair the strap without spending a bomb sending it back to Swatch group?

So whats wrong with yours?

The locking mechnism is good.

My guess is that you wear you pr watch too tightly and when you move your wrist, it pushes the buttons and unlocks the clasp.

One way is not to wear it so tightly.

It is not tight. When the small metal knob enter the hole, there is nothing to grip it tightly in place. Used to have a click sound when i close the strap but now no sound n cannot fasten.

That means the spring catch either broke or lost tension.

A signal to Get a Rolex
