Turbocharged

Don't think anyone driving diesel will do that unless staying in jb, considering the toll fees, vep and traffic jam going in and out.

The number of people affected should be small and the impact shouldn't be big.

But if it's a prelude to prepare for diesel pump price increase for to taxation, then it's going to affect everyone in SG.

This will drive up business costs that will likely be passed on to consumers.

In Malaysia, Shell launched new fuels with Dynaflex formulation which is claimed to keep engines clean and protected to improve efficiency. Apparently designed with modern car engines in mind. The new fuels were first launched in HK in Apr.

Any reviews?

Before even thinking of going jb for the diesel.. do your sums on the tolls and vep in and out, and how big is your tank and distance to travel.

That few dollars isn't going to be worth, unless u stay there need to go home daily.

Anyway yes, some like BHP already Euro 5.

thanks for the response, now diesel cars not subject to 3/4 tank rule so go in on empty tank fill 50+ litres, groceries, makan, massage also, milk powder for kid so quite worth it.

other than BHP near woodlands customs, any idea if the shell just after woodlands customs has diesel euro 5?

Euro 5 diesel in Msia now RM2.05 = ~S$0.70.

Cnergy at Toh Tuck selling $0.89

How large is your tank? Even if 60l, 60 x 20c = $12 savings - VEP $6.50 = $5.50 savings only...

Add the time spent queuing, some say higher risk of accident/chance of getting robbed, plus the fact that our cars drink much less... Not worth my time just to pump.

But if you're going in for food/groceries as well, the Shell stations at Jln Kota Tinggi and Jln Ulu Tiram have Euro 5. In fact, most stations in major towns now have Euro 5...

Anyone can advise me please?

It will be my first time driving to Jb (Desaru). I have read many forums on what to do and avoid. But cannot find the info below:

1. Do I need to register my car and details for Malaysian VEP at https://vep.jpj.gov.my?

2. Is there any embarkation card to fill to enter Jb?
