I did pump the Euro5 at JB BHP, opposite the traffic police station one. Perhaps they ran out of Euro5 when you were there?

 

hmm...strange, cause i went there look around, didn't see any blue colour pump gun, only black, asked pump attendant and she said euro 2 only :(

$100..yeah I agree it's my mistake, but 1-2litre I find it too near to the 3/4 rule..but the officer should be chillax..I literally had to pump $6 just to enter back msia..jeez

nx time just apologise saying you forget to check. No need argue....be apologetic about your miscreant. I am sure as human we make this kind of mistake. No need to blame him as he was doing his job......a bit of emphathy goes a long way.

My thought is just 2 ways. Ultrasound the vehicle tank and weight measurement.

 

Latter can be overcome if I hide a 10kg rock in the car?

Actually to go into msia just for petrol aint really worth it afterall with the tolls on both ends. Not forgetting the jams.

 

Add up, the savings is minimal.

Don't think they invest so much just to scan yr petrol.

Hearsay this is to scan for drug and weapon.

 

Maybe can scan thru your clothing too :)

Doubt it. ICA primary responsibility is security and they should start using it to scan incoming traffic, drugs, weapons, terrorists..... It might come later to cover both ends but I doubt ICA cares about revenue generation much (secondary maybe), otherwise they would have implement easy peasy 100% fuel check long long time again.

Just had the worst luck ever yesterday at woodlands when i was going to JB to pick up my grandparents, my petrol was probably 1-2litre away from the 3/4 gauge(my Full tank its 60L) and this bloody aetos guy whom was being super unreasonable summoned me for it! kept emphasizing needs to be 3/4. Anyone know if i can write in to complain? first time offence.

Anyone know if i can write in to complain? first time offence.

I agree with you it boils down to luck and the person on duty.

My friend goes in half tank every 2 weeks to pump petrol never got caught.

I go in once a year for CNY, one time a bit less than 3/4 tank cos of heavy jam got caught.

Apologize, explain, go office appeal, show receipt that I just pumped in the morning still got fined in the end!

Those driving in with PHV decal got to be extra mindful.

 

Don't quote me but my source is just from a friend of a friend of a friend. This is hearsay only ok.

 

Ever since July they are coming down hard on vehicles especially those with the decals. Reason being the subsidies are not for commercial usage, personal consumption still can close one eye but for the former they are acting on it. Of course car without decals are also being caught in this cross-fire.
