Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic September 6, 2013 Share September 6, 2013 Looks like they really haven't solved this flooding "ponding" problem... They only focus on fixing the situation in orchard road - because this is where the tourists will be complaining and spreading the bad news. As for heartlands... still same old, same old... errrrrr........... heartlands have what !!!! Remember the 2 ceilings that failed to be cleaned during 'spring' cleaning and required a Parliament sitting..... So, 'ponding' is nothing as compared to ceiling cleaning... Ceiling cleaning is to health and 'ponding' only affects vehicles which Insurance will look into it....

Not surprised some Pub ppl spent the $$$ at Pubs and Meimei instead of doing the jobs that they are paid to do. 2 chief officers have been caught so far SCDF & CNB both under MFA and 2 "kakia" from CPIB and NPark, seems like our officers are following China's officer's footsteps... I wonder which department will be the next to make headline, NEA or CRA?

Tianake 2nd Gear September 6, 2013 Share September 6, 2013 (edited) High tide occur twice daily .... they think people stupid. If flooding or not is dependent on nature (high tide or heavy thunderstorm) why do we need these idiots and paying them millions of $$$ I tell them to come out with a new better excuse. i check the tide table in NEA website. on 5th Sept, the low tide is 0.5 metre @ 0513 hrs and the high tide is 2.6 metre @ 1130 hrs http://app2.nea.gov.sg/weather-climate/for...ide-information What time did it start raining ? Go figure if what they say is reasonable. if a high tide of 2.6 metre can cause massive flooding. what will happen if we have similar rain fall and the highest tide of 3.9 m that happen in 1974 to occur on a same day? everyone can go swimming in 1 metre deep swimming pond liao. :D http://wildsingaporenews.blogspot.sg/2012/...ml#.UimeOZKLDIc Edited September 6, 2013 by Tianake ↡ Advertisement
