Maseratigood 5th Gear December 31, 2013 Share December 31, 2013 ok tks. But still like carforum lei feel more comfortable and more bros willing to share different kinds of views, hehe You are quite right, also, there are few rejects (from BMW forum) here, 1 am sure they can provide you with their learned advices. But the best advices are those from the few regulars of that forum who are helpful here too.
Zyklon 5th Gear December 31, 2013 Share December 31, 2013 antz...never try before...a lot of good workshop from bmw-sg... booklet never stamp de. keep to 8-10k oil change interval. The recommended is too long and will cause sludge issue. Oil change at pml is not much more expensive than outside workshop, but takes more time. Throttle2 Supersonic January 1, 2014 Share January 1, 2014 You can choose R2D, BVO both are expert on beemers. PML is well known of parts replacement, let say you complaint aircond not cool, they advise to replace whole system, you complaint interior rattling noise, they tell you normal. If your gear change jerk, they say this model is like that. Hahahahaha, sounds like you are a True PML BMW owner!! Well done! PML is only here to carrot un-aware owner. Those mention BMW specialise WS are better in diagnoise problem. PML will just ask owner change entire parts without troubleshooting Yup and that is why, the stupids say that driving BMW is very expensive when it is actually not. Becos the Stupids go PML and kena carroted. Want to Drive BMW, make sure one is technically sound. BMWs are for such owners. Same for Porsche, by the way. Thats probably why many BMW drivers who can afford it, become Porsche drivers at the end. u picha people lobang ah? Not neccessary to replace part yourself at least you know what's wrong with your car. Like my boss ex XC70 same thing kena carrot, aircond thermostat defect, replace compressor, replace condenser coil, replace hose, replace evaporator coil...... 4-5k bill end up we pressure test and bench test everything to prove in normal working condition. Write in to Volvo and they send two technician to our workshop to inspect all "DEFECTED" parts, immediately Volvo management ring my boss and offer free servicing and extend warranty. There's no harm to learn some knowledge on your car, it might save some of your money in future.
