Third party watchtech cost about $500 to service and refurbish vintage, parts not inclusive.

if you are looking at new models, nothing to worry, they are pretty fine andhardy, i reckon no servicing required for at least 10 yrs.

if you want to know, just call RSC, shouldint be too expensive , maybe $700?  My best guess.

no point paying any premium for new Tudors.  They are traded at a discount.

I went to an Omega AD, salesman told me servicing costs can be high, as only the folks at RSC can do it, and not much third party shops outside who knows how to service Tudor in house caliber.

Maybe they wanted me to get Omega instead 😅

What do you guys think? 🙂

This is a nice watch to have.

But if you like diver's watch, I still think Rolex submariner is the must have in the collection. The classic design has always been popular.

But I must say Tudor did solve the divers watch date version. In Rolex, you have to give up on the illuminated strip at 3 o'clock direction in order to have the date, which spoils the overall divers watch purpose and symmetry. Tudor managed to have the date AND the illuminated strip, which will still be nice when the watch is in the dark, unlike the Rolex Submariner Date. Well Done Tudor!

Turbocharged

about $500 in 2016 at RSC when it suddenly stopped working for a 8 year old tudor. No issues since then. I never bother with annual servicing.

Yes I agree, there is nothing wrong or right with Omega, the main thing is the price point is higher than the Tudor model I am looking at. But the AD at omega manage to give me a good discount that sits within the range of the Tudor.

Great to know your omega is serving you well more than 20 years!

Okay, thanks bro the reply. $500 seems decent given at RSC, did you try going to outside just to get a quote or if see they know how to service one?

please note it was $500 in 2016. The price now - I don't know.

I did not check outside. I was nearby so I just dropped in. I think it spent a few days inside.

Black bezel 41 stainless steel. I like the classic look. No discount, paid 5k plus.
