Seems like a pretty decent investment for retail? malls + hotels + kidznaia + condos

 

Wanting to invest in retail but not sure if its a good investment. Not too familiar with the location etc.

I may b wrong but u sound like a novice investor. If so, my advise is to stay out of retail/commercial as its a different game plan.

yeah you are right..I have never invested in retail and IN Malaysia hence I am asking.

Dun get me wrong. Commercial properties are a good asset class to invest in, esp in MY as the yields are good. But good location, concept n tenant mix is crucial. Strata titled malls are a bit risky. There are several big boys going into the JB scene at better locations n it'll be survival of the fittest.......

Hatten is a reputable developer in Malaysia. This is a major project for them, but I find that the location isn't that good.

The only location I will invest is in KLCC area.

Many people in iskandar are bleeding money , now you wanna buy commercial property? Personally i won't recommend buying leasehold properties and worse conditional leaseholds.

 

You don't own the property.
