I am a freq user of cruise control as well. Love it, especially when I see the GREEN ring, and know that fc is maximised due to almost constant fuel injection.

yeah bro, i think this Green Ring design is good. I'm always happy when the Green Ring appears. [bounce2]

Bro, i read the manual and tried to do cruise control but failed to set it. Can enlighten me how to set it?? 😀

Hi, press the cruise control button. Accelerate to the speed you desire (max 110km/h), then press the "-" button to set it.

Can press the "cancel" button to cancel cruise or step on the brake.

anybody knows the downside of frequent usage of cruise control? I'm a lazy bugger, as soon as i hit KPE, switched on cruise control at 80km/h.. So that means im using it at least once a day going back to Punggol.. not sure if there are any "side effects"?

and speaking of CVT, im really impressed.. was curious abt the rpm at each gear change but i ran out of roads before i could figure them out!

My previous car got cruise control and it has been good to me for 8 yrs. This is my tot previously whenever I used it.

  • the electronics must be robust, if not how am I going to slow down or cancel the cruise control. Electronics is very funny, don't used it for too long it will spoil, used it too often it will also spoil

  • I get so relax in cruise control and my leg go into sleep mode, during e-brake I better step on the right pedal

other than that I quite enjoy using cruise control whenever I can.

Though its Euro, however a point to note is that the 130ps 1.5 petrol mated to CVT is sold there , inspite the tag "HR-V".

Hopefully, AD will just like what they did for the Jazz RS do the same for the HRV 1.5 Singapore.

The Euro HR-V looks cool. Will the PI likely to bring in ?

No slightest idea. But if they did, hope they bring in the HR-V 1.8 based on that tried & tested Civic 1.8 engine.

Sis LEEST, do note that the minimum cruising speed is 40Km/h.

All,

I am planning to visit couple of PI's and X model is on my mind.

. Can some one give me some of the important key points to ask.. like, what is the COE rebate , COE bid is guaranteed or not.. ! I am a bit concerned as whether i will be part of the cheating if i dont ask all the questions and they will make use of my less knowledge in things .. :-(

I can easily shortlist the top 5 PI's ( thanks to the post of people who have got the car as well as booked ) and on that its mentioned it is for reference and people have to do the due diligence.

So in short my question is "what are the due diligence to be done? "

thanks a lot

X Model

Car body around $48k

COE capped @ $57k

COE rebate @ $55k

CEVs @ $10k

Recommended buying price should be around $105k+

Guaranteed COE and delivery with no top up deal. Please ask SE to state the delivery date.

For such deals, the price will be slightly higher. For current COE, price should be around $108k+

Instead of FD1 R18A engine, Sinkies have to settle for the small old style L15 1.5L for our HRV... and ours costs way more than Bolehland RM120k HRV V model.... dollar to dollar.

In fact, I prefer JDM model with the Honda new Earth Dream 1.5 L DOHC engine. It produces more horse power per c.c as compare to old R18A engine. Moreover, it is more fuel efficient and produce less CO2. [flowerface]

Tyre pressure very individual.

I do not mind hard and bumpy rides as all my previous rides have been like that.

So do give it try on what suits you. Ranging from 220 to 250.
