Just saw a white vezel at downtown east car wash today.. didn't know the guy sitting beside me drove it.. if not could have asked more about the car first hand from an owner.. but the white is still sexy...

 

My only turn off about the back is the brake lights and tail lights are under utilized. wonder if i can mod and change to the hybrid version or to the Audi tail / signal lights?? haha

Is it true that may 15 shipment for Honda vezel had been delayed till now? My PI had to extend the contract that stated end Jun delivery mth. Claiming that Japan delayed their export and they have not received any news on the car that is suppose to be shipped in on early May 15.

Anyone has some problem like me?

As I also trade in my car to him as my current car is expiring in 1 yr. Due to the delay, he paid for my current car insurance, road tax and inspection charges. He also honour the contract agreed trade in price until I get my new car from him.

2) Additional of "amplitude-sensitive damper" to increase both comfort

3) IR Cut / UV Cut treatment of windows

4) Plasma Cluster Technology equipped with full auto air conditioner

 

I was told by some folks that these are gimmicks.

Personally I think Item 1 - Is gg to cost you more. Item 2 - I don't know what that is. Item 3 - I thought current Vezels already have. Item 4 - do we really need that?

 

If you r not in hurry and you think some of these enhancements are important to have, why not wait.

Since you are trading in, and you get the above, slowly wait bah. More advantageous from the way I see it. Will they honour the cevs rebate too if delivery after july?

Not yet. My PI told my wife that the car is ready and they will bid the COE for me tomorrow (17 Jun 15). I checked the system and my PI has yet to register my name. Still have a day to go. Hoping for the best now.

 

Tomorrow I will know my fate. If they can't get the COE for me, that means they will not be able to deliver by Jun 2015. I will then have to get my deposit back as the deal will no longer be valid.

 

By the way, mine COE rebate is $0. I signed the deal in Mar 15 as they convinced me that they can deliver by Jun 15. I certainly do not wish to wait any further for the COE to drop.

Honda buys the air purifier module from Sharp lor.

 

Just like Toyota buys the air purifier from Panasonic (their Nanoe system)

 

Hyundai buys from Samsung and LG, Kia buys from LG.

2: it's a fancy type of adaptive suspension. Amplitude probably refers to the length of suspension travel, so if I'm to interpret that phrase I would believe that the new "amplitude-sensitive dampers" are able to detect the amount of damping force required in real-time to compensate appropriately to improve both ride comfort and handling.

 

4: Full auto air-con... most people don't seem to use it at all, all just use manual temp and fan... I would use auto air-con if I have it, that's my personal taste, tech savvy, etc. Dunno whether people nowadays even know what auto-aircon does. Seem a lot of drivers don't even know what dual-zone do. The plasma cluster technology is to help purify the air in the car and try to kill/neutralize contaminants in it. Google something like "Air Ion Generator" ... think can find, got house versions and cig-lighter versions also.

In Singapore, I think you double sure want clean-air feature. Especially if you got asthmatics or sensitive people on board. I think you will appreciate such a system when you drive through industrial areas or happen to be behind a taxi or truck that spews out a black cloud of DPF debris. This is all don't need feature, but have, I appreciate it.

Mine is NOT the improved version according to my PI. I bought mine in Mar 15, hopefully can collect the car next week or 30 Jun, after the got the COE for me today.

 

I must agree that the waiting period, the sheer anticipation is killing me. I am still waiting to collect the key, one last hurdle.

My colleague has the same plasma air purifier like urs. He wants to pass it to me. After i read the instruction etc info, it written it might interfere v radio frequency and car cam(if i am not wrong. Must put 30cm away from radio. Then i did not use it .

Bro, Same to me. My PI told me shipment is end July. Collection in Aug~Sept.

 

If the shipment don't have Blue colour then I think I have to wait long long.... All depend on the japan side.
