Honda Vezel

Turbocharged

Jus my POV, today i juz went to fix my 17" (inclusive by my PI).

Initially i always longing for those 5-spokes with thoughts that is easier to wash the gaps in-between. But the tyre technician told me that they had fixed a few Vezels & recommended a particular 1 that he felt it's more suitable, but it has more spokes. His POV is that 5-spokes have bigger gaps which makes the Vezel bottom looks empty, thus smaller feel..

Being stubborn & still thinking of 5-spokes, i asked him to put a FEW options "in front" of my Vezel for comparison. Together with my wife, we both finally agreed that.. the tyre technician is correct. Of course, the trade off of aesthetic would be tougher cleaning up..

So, my lesson learnt today is :

1. There's actually no right or wrong in the choice of Rims. Is the beauty in his own eyes.

2. Juz like seeing a wall paint catalogue vs whole wall slab being painted, the effect can b very different. So the best is still to put the Rim next to your car to see by your eyes instead of by your mind..

Here was my comparison..

after that put BBK to fill up the gap. [sly]

230/210 or 220/200 should be fine

You are right bro. You need to balance between comfort and FC. The first couple of weeks, I was trying to archive max FC. Then I realize I am trying to hard. As long as it is about 16km/l, I will sit back and enjoy my ride.

Hi bro, I got mine done at ceramic pro, chosen the advance package that cost 1200+. The workshop is in yishun. You can search their forum in MCF. They have very good feedback. If u do before 1 month after collecting yr car, it is lifetime warranty, but there is a catch that u need to go back for check/maintenance after every year. This will cost about 100. I think there is a couple of bro here also did this package.

So far so good. Easy to clean, wash and dry. This is my first time using this so I can't say how reliable

this is. They also include rim protection/coating and glass coating (rain water easily drain off) in the package. The one thing is dun like is the glass coating. If light rain/less water, the wiper will sometimes

jerk (not smooth) when swiping.

Maybe u can ask bro Indulge, he is trying PPR that cost 400+ & can last 5 years.

wow im interested in paint protection too. didnt done anything for my old car that lasted 10 yrs, i remember it was really scratchy towards the end.

anyway $1200 is a lot to me.... is it worth it? somemore must pay $100 per year for maintainence

hoping to hear more from Indulge about PPR... $400 is quite reasonable!! :D

Don't be disappointed, cheer up. At least there is one good thing. I purposely asked my SE to register the car in Jan 2015 although I can actually collect it yesterday. Next time, it is easier to tell people mine is a 2015 car instead of mine is a 2014 but end December car. lol. :D:D :D

Thanks boss. yah ok now its a 2015 car (hopefully can collect) Pray hard

If you are paying premium and they delay due to unforeseen circumstances,

I would think it would be good if they can compensate you with some freebies.

On a side note, consider yourself lucky, Hup Long did not run away with your money.

Bro, nope. i havent paid premium (itz 1st loan instalment?) yet.

My SE say he will collect 1st loan instalment together same day when we collect car.

Really very very worried when the drama happen, we were super worried that our $49k fly away :(

thanks for u guys advise and support ^^

how come your vezel so cheap? only $48k+?

i paid full for the upfont, the rest is on bank loan. ;)

Xiao Hei is back... Nicely done up by 2 person. They took 5hrs to polish and glass coat my car.

As there were many hairlines on the paint work.

I was told that the gloss and water beading will last up to 5 years.

Just need to do my weekly washing... Remove birdshit immediately...

Total damage $480

Glass coating: $400 and i bought a bottle of nano ppr for my windows: $80

Sounds good to me! :)

So u have to do the nano ppr for your windows yourself? Does it cause the wiper to be sticky?
