Did you check when was the car sent for inspection? Sounds like the car was not even in port yet when you bought. But again I may be wrong. Hope for the best for you bro. Weird. I booked mine in Dec. Yesterday secured coe. SE called me automatically and said next week collection. Seats were done up even before my coe was secure and inspection done up in early Jan. Seems that you are right, Car definitely not in Singapore Port as given on purchase.

2nd Jan to Vicom and 27th Jan to Vitas. Documentation within LTA.

 

Your PI the right w to shorten time by doing Seat in advance, Great productivity!

Thot ceratec only for higher mileage engine? New engine literally no wear ceramic coating only coats worn n rough surface.

LM for me. I've tried xrev b4. It like any other eo. Now on castrol edge titanium 5w30 w ceratec. Smooth feel.

 

i think for old engines will have significant feel, my ex-ex-subaru Legacy benefitted thoroughly!

 

saw that it'll adhere to metal parts regardless, just like ester technology

Looks like the japs are keeping the best for their JDMs again. It's a SOHC 1.5 engine with lesser engine output. Now i felt happier getting the JDM model.

Sometimes the specs is determined by AD, maybe they cut cost to fit into Cat A.

Booked in Oct 2014, got COE 65889 and body calculated is 55.6K for X model !!!

Actual OMV unknown but around 19K. CEV committed as 10K.

 

With the secured COE, can I buy from another PI?

Can forgo 5K deposit and still may save $$.

 

dun do anything rash bro..double check what you can do, list down options then slowly ask your way.

All 3 models come with halogen headlight only.....

Nothing mentioned about CBTA or interior. And I see handbrake, thats probably a mistake.

All HRV and Vezel are electronic brake mah.....

 

And the price is more than $10k difference.......

Hi bro. You might wish to check out SgGarage Edwin. You can find Edwin in FB. I have use him to install my floor light. Friendly guy and reasonable cost. On the day running lights, if it doesn't come (imported) with the car, then all external installed lights are not approved. Any lights installed inside the car are okay.

 

Having said that, I also wanted to install the Honda logo with LED at rear but was told not approved. Installed at your own risk. Normally LTA do not inspect/spot check on the road, only during car inspection. I am thinking of adding 1 extra on/off switch to off the lights during vicom inspection. In my previous ride, I installed extra night LED with on/off switch. During vicom inspection, I off the LED and put black tape to cover over the LED lights .... dun quote me if anyone get caught (touch wood)

On/Off switch is most advisable option. My ex-ride also installed couple of LED on the exterior which I OFF during VICOM Inspection. PASSED, cos it didn't affect the original headlight brightness.

But my DIY static tint-film (cheapo type) on the window was asked to remove on the spot..

Hi Bro, 1stly OMV will be determined by LTA from what was declared by dealer.

 

From OMV, ARF can be determined. If it's below 20k, ARF = OMV. For X model Vezel, so far havent seen any with OMV >20k

 

CEV rebate will be applied onto ARF. Hence if ARF is $19500. CEV rebate of $10,000 applied means ARF payable to LTA is 9500.

So final numbers may look like this:

OMV = 19500

ARF = 9500 (after CEV rebate of 10000)

there's also excise duty, registration fee, gst etc which adds on to the total cost of the vehicle to the dealer.

This is quite disappointing as i was actually looking forward to see the HRV from Kah Motor. Looks like they have not changed their usual policy of stripping cars to bare specs for sale in SG market. I remember the Civic 1.8 which i bought from them in 2006, doesn't even come with boot cover, can see all the ugly wires lol
