Think no way you can get immediate delivery or within 2 weeks for this hot baby.

Lucky if you can find one with shipment on the way.

Good luck in your car search :)

if your referring to those smaller players then yes, they do not have any stocks or maybe only a few units AT most.

Most PI's doesn't have stocks because only a handful are direct importers and they get their stocks from third parties, recall's would be an issue in the future.

And alot of PI's generally sell cars that they do not even have the stocks in the first place.

Unless yours is a big and established player that have a ready stream of supplies EVERY Month then be prepared to wait like some others for their deliveries.

*Note* A number of PI's did not BID for their customers within the stipulated bids in the contract as the COE prices was high but eventually some did BID at the 8 BID which was much lower than the 6 BID stated.

On the hind sight, lucky there was a dip in the COE price in July, if not those owners might never even not get their COE.

For more information, you all could join this Facebook group which was set up by a bunch of Vezellians and not but any PI,SE or businessman.

You can also join their meetup and see for yourself the real person instead of SE masquerading as customers singing their own company praise like no tomorrow.

Which PI did your relative buy from that doesn't impose penalty for no loan?

I have another question... i remember there's a way to tell whether a PI is a Direct Importer or not... some invoice or bill thing.. what is it called? I want to double check that cos every PI will claim they are Direct Importer, which cannot be lah!

PM you.

If minimum 50% loan. I dont buy already haha.

3mth delivery ok as long as my wife gets to drive her mazda.

My friend signed two weeks with promise of 6 weeks delivery. The PI secured his COE at the first bid hence one hurdle down.

No need loan, no penalty (after some bargaining). Colours, however, are limited o black or white. Price certainly cheaper that those quoted here.

I no dealer, you know me.

Majority buyers will not go DIY because a lot of hassles, no time, working at office 9-5, no experience in dealing with car stuff, no network of friends in automotive industry and high chance of hitting problems along the way (which requite extra effort, time and energy again). Yes, anyone can just use the internet to do research and all. But base on my experience, no matter how much I research (travel, products, gadgets, home fix), things always don't turn out the way it would or should be. Lots of trial and error and remedy.

Unless of course I'm retired, so rich don't have to work, collect rental on properties and a keen interest to experience bringing the car myself.

Yeah, need to arrange transport from port and to LTA but heard paperwork at LTA not so troublesome.

No warranty but with Honda I have little doubt.

I need to get IU and camara installed and I may even have to get the UV film installed.

I am running a Biz dealing with import from China so I am familiar with shipping but a Car is a different thing. Need to get a special handler for that.

Anyway, good learning experience. Will keep you all up to date on each step.I might even consider selling the Vezel nearer to the registration date.

Hi Guys,

I want to check if it is normal for PI to put your car in the showroom for customer viewing while waiting for vitas? I realise I had my car being put in the showroom without our permission. Is it normal practice?

Really a good question

But i thought PI sure uses our cars as showroom cars, they always told and show around the showroom car to people and also said its being bought already.

yes its a hassle.

Am sure his logistic clearing agent should be able to arrange for the necessary.

Of course there are lots of charges involved as there are various processes that need to go through.

Looking forward to hear from the original poster on his experience and i wish all the best and good luck.

if you only just found out you had a "relative" selling car, then I think you may not be too close with this "relative". I would advise against buying from relative to avoid conflict of interest when issues arise.

Can anyone help me on this? thanks a lot

if you are so paranoid about warranty by the workshop then to put your mind at ease, my recommendation is to use the Insurance company offered to you by the PI.

this way, should anything arise, your fall back plan is always, "hey mr PI, this is what you offered :) so why should there be exclusions"

Hi Vezelers,

Great to know tat vezel had been gaining popular since it was first brought in by LP last year. Went to take a look n qouted >120k+ so decided to take a backseat till two weeks ago n signed on the dotted line, expected delivery Nov. Keep my fingers crossed n hope for the best.

I guess it could be Honda most popular CUV replacement since it was introduction back on 1998 till EOL on 2006.

CEVS rebate...

You already get it upfront as the dealer should have deduct it off from the car price or pass this saving to you by quoting a lower car price ( deduct off the cevs rebate)than it should be.

But then.... You are "penalise" as the parf value is = (omv- cevs)/2 ... If you drive the car for 10 years.

Well, this is my understanding... Hope didnt give you the wrong info...lol

Am aware about the parf value remains which is pathetic...

so if to say the quoted value is 10k.. shld it be discounted from the total value? or discounted after downpayment??

Depends on PI??

Car price quoted to you is already after deducting off the CEVS value!

Effectively, that is the car price to pay. :(

That why, some bro did wonder if this rebate is or has been given to consumer or built into the profit of the PI/AD.

So cannot be prices of Vezel X are at 109k after rebate right??

Bro. Forget about the rebate. Its already built into the selling price. In fact if the selling price is fixed, you would rather want a lower rebate so as to have slightly higher value after 10 yrs..but seriously, its a pathetic figure. I would say its like almost as good as no paper value liao by then. Search back the historical posts in this thread... already quite a lot of discussion on this.
