I think very japanese feel, overall a gd ride!

Im still exploring the features.. any bro can advise what is the right step to stop the engine? I pressed the stop engine and all went off.

Any method to use the headunit without starting enine or stopping engine?

When you say "stop the engine", you mean the automatic start-stop system for fuel saving?

You must have this enabled, I think it usually a button that looks like an A with a ↺ around it.

When you come to a stop, e.g. at a traffic light, hold the brake pedal all the way, depressed to the maximum. Judging from comments in this thread, this is a prerequisite for activating the system in the Vezel.

Bro,

I am a little lost. If jdm cars did not deliver the cars and fully refunded, how did they locked in the big profits u mentioned?

Thanks

Buyers who got their cars from JDM Cars Pte Ltd please be careful.

I am just displaying the truth...you'll be in in for a rough ride and you may not get your cars.

D day H Hour has arrived for many, COE booked, PI cancel and refund.

Those who make noise will have their bookings cancelled last minute.

Those who r quiet, and they have already locked in a big profit margin on your deal, (i'm sorry, in other words, you are a carrot that has been chopped and you have NO IDEA whatsoever about it because you trusted their words), your cars may be forced delivered to you in ways you can't imagine.

New buyers stay away, many others to choose from, don't fall prey to fake advertisements that have never been seen delivered thus far.

Enjoy your fun if you have already booked, or seek recourse by getting advice from your nearest guru.

If you're in their facebook SGVEZEL DISCUSSION group, good luck.

try posting a negative or honest question that seems bad for marketing...it will be DELETED and hid from the rest of the world.

congrats to those who have already gotten back your refund

cheers!! happy weekend!!

from the facts displayed by all the victims i know, JDM has overbooked on purpose to collect cash 1st. i.e an example is knowing that total of 100 vezels can be booked from supplier between june and dec, but collect 150 vezel bookings.

With a buffet spread of customer bookings and money held by ONE KEY PERSON, they can choose who they want to deliver to.

The big profit margins locked in, sorry, my mistake on expression.

To clarify, for those gtd no top up deals where they managed to lock in low COE levels. And with a buffet spread of customers who have booked semi-blindly,not knowing exact consequences of the terms, those victims who have no idea they are sitting on 8-12k or more paper loss upfront (upfront paper loss equals cash profit for PI). These buyers who never complain or frequent FB nor MCF, i would assume they will be chosen as targets to milk.

As it stands, the whole S shipment of improved version, is likely cancelled.

Reason given was that supplier run road.

Facts however...checked with a few major players, no supplier ran road.

Likely explanation why whole S shipment is gone...because not many dealers foresee that S improved model will end up being 5k cevs rebate only. This may mean a losing transaction.

just another small point to add, they have been collecting admin fees from 400 to 3000, maybe more. All those who agree to it, have NO IDEA that when you buy new car, the standard market practice is no such admin fees. Hidden gimmicks.

Sorry not enough power to praise you.

"Overbooked on purpose"....." can choose who they want to deliver" hmmmmm......

Seems like an EXCELLENT tactic to secure INTEREST FREE fundings.

If we cancel, there is penalty.....If they cancel, no penalty.

Unfair business practices? Can bring this up to relevant 'Authorities' ?

Incredible!

Congrats!

To keep HU on without engine running, put the gear shifter to N (not P) then press the Start/Stop Button.

Download the one and only Vezel (direct Japanese to English) user manual.

Not so great but you have no choice. Unless you can read/learn Japanese language.

Vezel is a really nice car. Great shape and road presence.

A relative is seriously considering this as well.

However, I am just wondering...with the Subaru Forester 2.0 non turbo at 120K+/-, will this not be a better deal?

The 10K+/- premium is not a lot, but one gets real time AWD with X-Mode.

Good for trips up north in rougher roads when needed.

But of course, the fuel consumption of the Vezel is spectacular. The Forester is not as good in that aspect.

Unless you go off road, how useful is AWD?

Subaru looks solid and a bit dated though. Vezel have this up to date 'sporty' look.

In this mini compact SUV category, one will sure turn to look at it. [:)]

What more can you ask. SUV look with affordable ownership cost. (road tax, insurance and petrol)

Can't agreed more to it.

SUV is gaining more popularity with crossover SUV joining into the AWD SUV.

Each group is there to cater to difference need.

Well, Vezel is the best selling SUV for the 1st half.

Don't buy jetta, any Japanese car similar budget, stick to it, want more power get a Subaru turbo.

Good reason why all the volks are stuck in the 2nd hand market not being sold.

Even a champagne ah-pek colour, left with 2 yrs old Thailand made Toyota corolla sells faster and better margin that volks.

whereas if you have budget and wanna own a conti, buy a better one.

Jetta interior comfy? I dun think so though. I like the 1.4L turbo engine. but can do away with the faulty gearbox.

Concur totally!

No the automatic stopping. I off the feature already..

I mean do we need to start the engine to turn on the headunit. Maybe have to continue exploring as i just got ride yesterday.. 😆
