Anyone know whether will TC bring in the 1.6 turbo petrol version?

 

Checked with TC on facebook but said to check with SE. Can anyone help to check with their SE whether will TC got any plan to bring in this version?

Cheap or expensive? Right time to buy?

You can press / push / swipe the wipe control (on the left side of the steering wheel) twice towards u in a swift motion (if push away from u, water will spray at your screen, then both wiper will shift half way up and won't block / hit the bonnet when open. When done just press the wiper control forward /press towards u again (one time), and it will go back to its original position.

Hi Gorilla_Chow, thanks for replying. I'm aware of what u have highlighted but that's confine to user control only. Eveytime I come across an X-Trail at the carpark I'll take a chance to see if the edge of the bonnet is damaged by the wiper arm. Quite a few unit I witnessed with paint chipped off. Probably due to some flyer distributors in the carpark that's is unaware of the issue. If I'm not wrong the few initial batches of Qashqai were also facing the same issue but was corrected in the later batches of deliveries.

Hi all, new to this forum. Definitely keen to buy the X-Trail but concern about wiper arm hitting the edge of the bonnet when lifted up. Guess there is no immediate solution for this ongoing problem unless Nissan rectify this.

 

 

It's not an error in design but rather purposely so that it looks good. But I admit it's inconvenient and potentially damaging. So I pasted a 3m rubber on it. See picture.

 

However, if need to be lifted up, swipe the left lever below the steering up 2 times consecutively and the wipers will shift to a 'service' position for you to lift up.

You must push the wiper lever up 2 times quickly to put it in the 'service'position. See the picture which shows the 'service'position. Watch the video also.

Yup that is what tc service agent taught me too. I too the wiper scrap the bonnet

For 50/50, i also get around 9kml. Think the efficiency kicks in above the speed of 80km/h and being light-footed does not really help.

1. Getting Xtrail or Forrester XT

 

2. Wait..tan ku ku for COE to drop little more?
