Guys, if you are not in a hurry to collect your car, perhaps try negotiating for 6 or 8 bids Guaranteed.

 

For my X-Trail, I negotiated for 6 bids guaranteed at no extra cost. Managed to get my COE at the 1st bid.

 

I just collected my car today!

For my X-Trail, I negotiated for 6 bids guaranteed at no extra cost. Managed to get my COE at the 1st bid.

 

I just collected my car today!

Did the same and got at the 1st bid too. Worth to try, must try. Cheers!

I managed to nego to a 8bid guaranteed as well at no additional costs. Waiting patiently as I'm not really in a rush too.

Can the X-Trail boot take 3 large suitcases and 3 cabin bags w the 3rd row folded? Thinking of renting in Oz. Kum sia.

x-trail over there maybe 5 seater. 7 seater is not a standard option in other countries.

 

 you might want to verify before renting.

Interestingly, the T32 has been launched since 2014 but to see it listed in sgcarmart is still rare, as compared to the new Harrier that has been launched later....which is flooding the used car market already.

 

One reason is of course almost every PI has been busy selling the Harrier.

 

Anyway, I am happy the Xtrail is not flooded in the secondhand market..

 

Speaking of which, there is one registered in march 16 being posted.. Price is a little high since TC latest price is 125k.....

That one asking $123,800 for 6 months old. Who will buy when brand new is $125K currently. His COE $38K, so he probably paid around $115K nett then. Asking higher than dealers, that's the problem with some direct sellers. Even same price or slightly higher, ppl prefer to buy from dealers at least lemon laws apply. That's my opinion.

Indeed, can confirm. X-trail from Europcar was 5-seater. They recommend taking the Toyota Highlander or equivalent for 5+2 optionality.
