Can kind bros advice me the tyre profile for mazda 5 17"?

Can 225-45r17 fit?

Should be ok but need to note your rims offset such that the tyres won't rub the fenders. Not very sure about the acceptable rim offset though.

Based on my experience, Japanese tyres like Yokohama Advan DB are quieter compared to continental brands. I regretted listening to the tyre shop guy and not getting Japanese tyres instead, but they didn't carry Yokohama anyway so it would have been very troublesome to get tyres from another shop. I also heard from a friend after I bought these tyres that he has had Continental CSC5 tyres blow out on him twice! I've also heard good things about Korean brands like Hankook and Kumho, although they don't last as long but their price difference is quite substantial.

Bro after changing to 17" rims, ur ride sure slightly lowered. N our exos is already low enough. Any problem? I already keep grinding my exos already. Lol

Hey All! Just collected my M5. I am having some issues with the In Car dash Cam that was given by the agent. Its a Papago 360. I am not sure why, but my video clips are very short. Maybe 20-30 s. Sometimes, when I want to play the videos... it says no videos found. But when I restart the camera, the video files apprear.

Also another weird thing is that sometimes, there are times where the camera did not record anything, even though I am driving.

I even did a factory restore default. But the problem is still there.

ANy ideas?

Thanks!

hi bros, hoping to get some feedback and inputs here.

I just saw a ard 80k km mileage yr08 mazda5. how do I go about asking AD for maintenace records? btw, the depreciation quoted to me is abt 13.5k yearly.

any tips or complains which is good for me to take note? main concern is spare parts and maintenance.

currently driving a wish. feel that mazda 5 is bigger and driving feels better.. haha

thanks for reading. appreciate any inputs. many thanks

I am driving a Jan 09 Mzda 5( 5 speed). Bot as 2nd hand when it was 2.5 years old

Personally, I find a 7-8 year old car having 80k mileage unbelievable. You may want to consider the face lifted model from 09 onwards as its 5 speed, with rear air con and power sliding door.

Have been going to AD since I had issue with a transmission module control which they say will take 1 mths to arrive . This will render it "Undrivable" for that time. Ask if they can DHL the parts, they say cannot(with a very indifferent tone). I was totally pissed with the support for loyal customers).

So happy hunting.

Btw, I am not selling my car cos managed to "zong " one new TCM out with much help.

I have just collected my ride this week. The drive is pretty comfortable, but found the road noise a bit loud especially on the expressway. May i check if anyone did up soundproofing on their ride to reduce the road noise?

Interesting. I collected mine last Fri and it came with Blaupunkt BP5.0. Not satisfied with its performance, I swapped it back to my old trustworthy Itronics on Mon. Maybe you check with your SE directly better.

You guys must be driving a real quiet ride before changing. I found M5 to be so much more quiet than my old Stream. Haha...

Good morning,

I was driving a 2006 Nissan Sunny before the change to M5. I felt that the road noise is lesser than the current M5. But it only hold true till the 8th year because after that everything was wearing off and became noisy overall.

Can it be that Jap car are better solid build in the prev decade?

cheers

It's only being discontinued in EU and US market due to poor sales. Asian market still available as Japan is still selling it as Premacy while Taiwan is still self-producing its own Mazda 5.

Bro, the GPS module is separate from the headunit and it's a 3rd party module named CyberGPS with model no. PS-8300. It's being mounted on double-sided tape on top of the glove compartment and the GPS is running from an SD card. How I know it is because I practically ripped open my glove compartment and took out the module and re-mount it so that the SD card is easily accessible.

You can take note of your Device ID by going to Settings in the Galactio software and register the device at www.galactio.com. If your maps are dated Sep 2015, it's the latest so far.

Bro, that's interesting. Are you able to update your map if you need to do so & how to do it? Thanks
