just change my EM last week,

 

Bought EM from Tanly Motor, 3 pcs for $150 before GST.

 

Go to ws, labour is another $150 nett.

 

total 2-3 hours to change.

While engine idling <1000 rpm, hold steering wheel softly with your hands to feel any more vibration with new EM, then engage gear and hold gear knob with your left hand to feel vibration.

After new EM replace, the engine might transfer vibrating movement to your gearbox remain with old and harden gearbox mounting.

I always change both together in all my cars for peace of mind.

Hi Donut - what car is yours? Toyota Axio EM i bought 4pcs - $300.

 

Labour $100. haha

Which ws u went to? Labour so cheap... can recommend? I bought Toyota Axio EM from Ric Tat for $294 and installed at Dynamic Mechanics at Woodlands for $220... Total damage $514,,, Dynamic Mechanics is my regular servicing ws though... and their service and worksmenship is top notch...

Hi guys, is it worth to change em if my car left 1.5yrs plus? I went to stamford n the supervisor drove arnd n confirmed its em. N told me its abt $600plus for Honda stream. He said theres no impact on the cars if i dun change. Is it true?
