Nine_eleven 2nd Gear July 30, 2015 Share July 30, 2015 For those who mind the back seat should avoid rear-wheel drive car. This also why Lexus came out with ES250 that's front-wheel. don't forget that Audi too has mostly FWD models ↡ Advertisement
Jjchsg 2nd Gear July 30, 2015 Share July 30, 2015 I checked out IS 250 two weeks ago. The transmission Tunnel is the highest of the three and the legroom the smaller than C180 & Q50. Among the RWD or AWD, Subaru Legacy has a reasonably small tunnel.
CultureShock 1st Gear July 30, 2015 Share July 30, 2015 (edited) Hmmm... the SE told me that it was fixed by increasing the RAM. Want to verify. Can I check which third party brand they are using? I think it's Eurostyle using the Galactio software. Edited July 30, 2015 by CultureShock

bsswan 6th Gear July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 Is it true infinity key fob is the same design as Nissan except for its logo? Does it really matter....... you keep it in the Infinity pouch and never need to take it out your pocket. Nobody needs to see the actual key fob regardless of what it looks like or glows in the dark. Voodooman Supersonic July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 why is it a no brainer? Value for money or branding? Resale value? spare parts / maintenance costs? etc... The Q50 drive is way ahead of M6, the badge is a bonus.

Whilst I might agree with you on the paddle shift I've pretty much found the g/box to be pretty good on its own and the +/- on the stick to be useful when (rarely required). I can't remember the last time I used the parking brake, given I've not needed to park on the south side of Everest yet. I'm assuming your aluminium pedals is a joke? We're not talking about a GTR or Civic Type R here. Just this week driving and walking round I've seen 3x Q50 and 2x QX70 that I've not seen before. One of the Q50 was a white hybrid and the other two Premium like my own. On this front Wearnes look to have been doing a really good job in the past year with their promotion and, fingers crossed in a few years when we have to trade-in these vehicles, re-sale figures are high based on a good market reaction. I've not used the paddle shift on any of the cars I've owned... Not a wannabe boy racer and the g/b response was pretty good when I test drove the Q50 for a weekend. Q50 is targeting the middle income executive that wants something more than a Camry, in that I think the value proposition is pretty high, given the drivetrain and price competitiveness vs BMW/Merc equivalents. bsswan 6th Gear July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 Not joking leh, from their own brochure . There's a big difference between what people want and what is available.
Raymansg 1st Gear July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 what I understand is that what is on brochure is not necessarily what Wearnes will bring in. Like I have this long shot of hoping that they will roll out Android Auto as soon as its available.

Electronic parking brake... the foot brake does the job well. Aluminium pedals are nice... you can buy these cheap off the counter. Paddle shifters... emm... don't think I'll use them. The drive is so smooth and the power of acceleration when you step on the pedal is WOW! Just my personal experience... I lazy man, always engage parking brake when stop at traffic lights, relax the leg. electronic one is good as you don't have to disengage to move. And the aluminium pedal is nice, maybe is something I would want to have, not important to others. As for the paddle shifters, that one definitely not important to me. The sport mode would have made everything more exciting. ↡ Advertisement
