To each his own. I'm different generation from you. Those no. 3 socks are terrible. Wore few days and changed to my own

Weekdays lunch they will have the cmpb staff eating. If priced right, they may be able to attract nearby residence in the evening. Maybe rents are lower since it is primarily weekday lunch biz only.

Good to have a foodcourt in that area, since that place nothing much to eat. Only have hillv mall which has nothing there.

A now eating at hillv2. Canton closed replaced with A1 clay pot porridge. Ice cream parlour also toh. Not enough cloud.

cmpb got lots of staff to keep them afloat or not? actually, has the staff all moved over?

i remember price was reasonable. fried rice was i think 5.50. if got discount, will be cheaper.

I remember DSTA also in Depot Rd,did they move together with CMPB.?

Same.  I also bought many black socks before MR. Felt the quality is decent and very lasting.

Wah , that is more than 20yrs ago.

I skipped Depot Rd, so didn't even know where it was (at Depot rd).

Actually i was green horn and only went Dempsey CMPB a couple of times including that day (a 16th of March i still remember) when my father sent me there in his van to go in to sompah and then load tonner to go collect barang barang enroute to commando camp take RPL to Tekong... so also dunno much of the CMPB there.

And this Hillview one is my friend stay nearby, learnt of it then asked us to go there one night for a dinner (back in July). Only got maybe 5 stalls (including the drinks one) opened, while the rest were either still empty, or a couple prob still preparing to start biz...

yah. just wanted to save $$ and max out the $113 given every 2 yr. bought jogging shoes, even the no. 3 black shoes (wore for work), sandals, shorts, etc. The black socks got the most 😆

Oh, the towels... not only 20 yr hor... i married late, son is same zodiac as me one, 3 rounds apart... so the towels should be given close to 35 yr long service award liao 😂

In current era still has enlistment in CMPB? Thought all go directly to Tekong to report?

Err... kinda...

used for 2.5 yr during NS as bath towel. Then later on stayed in hostel and reservist ICTs also used. After that got use for kids when they arrived, either as towel or blanket. now use to line on bed when wanna lie down before shower 😄

if the manufacturer wan any endorsement on duration for it, can come find me
