Where to sell warped rims?

i have a few cracked or warped rims.

 

1. are there workshops that buy it as scrap metal? can fetch price? if worthless, i give my friend let him make coffee table.

 

2. if have 1 rim is good condition, will you try to sell or scrap it?

Unless you trade-in and get a new set of rim, if not it's worthless. For my case , i just recently trade-in my warp rim to new rim which still worth $150 to offset the new rim

but i was just wondering in the rare case where we not intending to purchase new rims, what you all do with the odd amount of perfect rims or warped rims?

The price now should be $1.60/kg

Flucuates daily. Check with your nearest aluminium scrap yard.

There are a few ways to get rid of your warped rims.

- There are WS which are able to repair, but don't expect to be in 100% good condition. This is provided if you want to continue to use them.

- Some tyre shops willing to accept trade-in, but at an extreme low price. This is the easiest way.

- Some cars' COE is expiring, you can discuss with the car owner to do a swap. Just pay for the swapping fee via WS. Some old cars have really nice rims and good condition.

- Go to metal scrapyard and sell them away, but at an extremely low price.

if you don't want to see this warped and CRACK rim being use by another user on the road

please dispose them to scrap yard

If me, I will keep in rear boot as spare set to replace the ori metal rim.

I think its better you go to scrap yard then you can make coffee table yourself
