Darryl 1st Gear October 19, 2015 Share October 19, 2015 haha...MI's one are original LED lamps from Subaru, like those you can see on the STi version, thus cost a premium...some of the bros out there & myself installed the aftermarket one at less than $220...or maybe cheaper depending on the installer's installation charge... Yup, it will void warranty to the lighting systems, should anything crops up in them...also, for future inspection in 3 year's time, you need to blank-off the LED lights with black tape, else inspection will fail. Also the fear of getting summon by LTA on bikes... Eh? DRL not approved meh? Some other brands also have DRL on them... Can explain further? ↡ Advertisement
Grisson 1st Gear October 19, 2015 Share October 19, 2015 Eh? DRL not approved meh? Some other brands also have DRL on them... Can explain further? MI said their type of DRL is not approved by LTA, as they did not send any car for inspection or apply for the approval for the current Forester XT version, which the DRL light is not a standard option...my SE said probably when they started to bring in the STi version with the DRL as a standard factory-fitted item, then their mgmt should send for approval. Capture1.JPG This is the "TS" version which is exclusive to Japan only lah. Only 550 built and all JDM. No longer in production. It's basically a normal Foerster xt with sti kits. No engine enhancement. The only way to see this here is via PI not MI. Your SE cannon? LOL if have I also buy!! Googled & showed her the pic, then she said "Oh I see...I also didn't know got this version...but don't think my mgmt will bring in yet...blah blah blah". Then she start to sell me to buy the kits for my XT (front & rear STi lip, red stitching for the seats, exhaust tip, etc. but without nose grille or interior STi accessories), which will costs another $5K...I turned down immediately... Quantum 5th Gear October 19, 2015 Share October 19, 2015 yup...but SE said they don't have any news if mgmt is bringing this version to our shore... Capture1.JPG JDM FXT Sti got 300ps/400Nm 6speed Manual GB or CVT, but Singapore fuel grade cannot make it, so tuning to 250ps/350Nm CVT only
Tohto Hypersonic October 19, 2015 Share October 19, 2015 JDM FXT Sti got 300ps/400Nm 6speed Manual GB or CVT, but Singapore fuel grade cannot make it, so tuning to 250ps/350Nm CVT only I think Singapore 98 fuel grade should be OK. Is the others South East Asia fuel grade not OK, Subaru factory will just sell one version for all the SEA country which is more easy for them. Like the Toyota car here are mostly for the SEA version.
Cosmicclaw 6th Gear October 19, 2015 Share October 19, 2015 Memory Seats...understand the new facelift model will come with Memory Seats. Grisson 1st Gear October 20, 2015 Share October 20, 2015 Hi, any one purchase the servicing packaging from MI when you purchase the car? Is the servicing package cheaper at the point when you sign for the car purchase? My SE offered me to buy the extended servicing package when I sign on the paper, & the price's the same if I should consider & buy later after I collected the car... Sent Neutral Newbie October 20, 2015 Share October 20, 2015 Bro, You referring to wear and tear items like brake pads and Tyre. or other items. If that is the case it is not worth the extension... I was offered the same deal, but was told that I can remove closer to car delivery.

Ayuready 1st Gear October 21, 2015 Share October 21, 2015 any one collecting on 31st? Told by my SE will be collecting my FXT on 31st. any good PPS to recommend? First time owning a white car, appreciate your personal inputs!
Ayuready 1st Gear October 21, 2015 Share October 21, 2015 Sorry bros, 1 more quick questions. Any one mount front facing childseat in the middle backseat? I read that the middle backseat is the safest place to mount child seat. I am using a recaro young sports model for my 2 year old. I am also expecting another baby on the way hence i thought mounting the child seat in the middle and another rear facing babyseat behind driver seat will create more space for my wife (to sit behind passenger seat (aka left side) as compared to her sitting in the middle where her space will be robbed by the console and the transmission tunnel Both are using seat belts to secure and not the isofix. First time driving SUV configuration and impending 2 baby seat in a car. appreciate all comments and sharing =) ↡ Advertisement
