Absxxxxx tint. Best grade. 770, include removal and sunroof.

Will the best grade affect the IU detection? Or they cut a hole?

Turbocharged

I believe the Apple connector does not transmit video. It requires a special sort of video output cable. Then again, if the car is reading files directly from the iPod/iPhone it shouldn't be an issue.

But as Pocus mention, the HU will probably not play videos while in motion.

I tried connecting my iPhone 6Plus and IPad Mini to the USB port.

Guess what, the apple device continue giving out the charging sound..

Like ping ping ping nonstop. Like look the forester 2.0 doesn't support Apple !

Would like to find out if the forester 2.0 can use the Shell 95 petrol or need higher premium like 98 or V Power in order to have smoother ride ?

Hi all,

Anyone of you bros out there with the touch-screen HU, are you able to play iPod/iPhone videos on the HU...?  I noticed that the HU has a video selection when the iPod is connected, but there is only audio, but no video on the screen when I selected a music video file to play...is there something that I may have missed...?  Or you may need a special cable t connect to the HU, in order to enable video...?

I can't even connect the iPhone to the USB port !

The USB cable connected to the USB port and when connect the other end to the iPhone... the phone keep throwing out ping ping ping nonstop. Even i switch the soucd to iPod it don't recognize the iPhone!

So far so good. Never cut hole. Still can detect. I saw a guy at the workshop. He did his metallic shining super dark kind... But IU cannot detect at outdoors parking. Came back to cut hole.

I was told by a MI SE that the 2.0L model can use 95/92 octane petrol. The 2.0XT must use 98 octane or above as it's a turbo. Don't know how true.

Facelift version supposed to also have torque vectoring.. if available in SG, this would make the FXT even more nimble!

As with all things new, FL will be usually higher and out-going model a little cheaper.

Didn't XT had a face lift this yr in May/Jun? Another face lift coming up so soon?

Not really a facelift for that one. That is only the local AD replace the outdated HU with a new LCD touch screen. Which are already available at others market when the car first release.

The new facelift have more item changes from factory.

I pick up the Forester 2.0 last week from MI but only try to connect the iPhone 6 Plus this week.

Cannot charge at all. Look like the USB Port is faulty !

Main improvements are the HID (projector-type) headlights and IMO better looking steering wheel similar to current outback.

Headlights alone is worth waiting for the facelift

Hi, did you try to shutdown your iPod & try to connect again...?  I had this problem initially when I 1st connect my iPod.  I shutdown & re-start my iPod, then it can connect already.

As quoted in the website "Thick door glass, improved seals and revisions to the Lineartronic CVT are said to improve the car’s quietness."  The thick door seal improvements to the facelift model is encouraging...I realize that the wind noise coming in from the door seals are a little excessive...at high speed you can even hear the "swishing" sound quite clearly...do you guys notice this also from your ride...?  Any aftermarket mod can reduce this wind noise from the door seals...?  Much thanks in advance if any of you can share !

The XV omv is around 17k. This is the same as FXT. Interior of XV give a more modern and refresh feel over FXT. So will the refresh 2016/7 FXT still command an omv of 17k? Or it will raise to over 20K? I coming from a point that XV is a 1.6 NA engine while FXT is a 2.0 DIT, and FXT has more features that XV. I wonder how MI can lower the omv for FXT to such level.

I've been driving a White FXT for 6 weeks now. My FC is averaging 10km/l with a mix of 50/50 driving. It does get worst with City driving.  It's a very pleasant drive, with power when needed. However, the lag can be annoying in I mode when trying to overtake. But in S mode, its really something.... I've not tried it in S# mode... not here but maybe when I drive up to M'sia :-)

Sighhhh...completed my 1st full tank today, & it was 7.2km/l...total mileage clocked from 1st full tank, until fuel indicator reached only 1-bar left, was 367km; thereafter went straight to pump petrol to full tank, about 51 litres of petrol...which gives me 7.2km/l....I did not even turned on "S" mode, & always kept my foot pedal below 20% all the time while driving, & rpm never reaches above 2,000rpm...see pic below on the foot pedal %.

post-74307-0-82949700-1444832136_thumb.jpg

Anyway, this fc is still soooooo much better than my '07 2.5L LGTW haha...but was expecting that it could be better with the new engine, & 2.0L, & CVT, & so on...anyway, can't expect good fc from Subarus especially turbo haha...

Wish I can get close to 10km/l man...

oh yah...to add on, perhaps my driving was maybe 80% city, 20% highway...?  This could be the main cause of the high fc though....
