SE mentioned that they have 2 shipments a month.

SE mention no more goods liao. Incoming in January.

if redo ur solar film outside, pls be careful and remember to tell whichever vendor to lay over the rear window instead of removing the original film given by MI. cos some of the bros here has a bit of the demister lines removed as they stick to the film. the rest can removed which u may want to over lay the sun roof.

If place outside, over time the edges will come off?

Best way is tell your SE you don't want the Solar film. They will rebate $50.

Go do outside.

That's what I do.

Which brand you do?

The SE I spoke to recommend Gteed COE.

4 standard items:

1) Car Cam

2) Solar Film

3) Car Mat

4) cannot recall (anyone can help please)

Solar film locally fitted will adhere to LTA regulation.

But I recall reading the heat rejection factor not idea as compared to other make and the tint is not dark enuff.

any one asked how much reduction if we don't get car cam? that one can port over from existing cars for many owners here right?...

and car mat? really?.... just go Autobacs get, better savings?

If you going to do it outside and touch the electrical, MI will void warranty for electrical.

Not limted to MI. It's the same story line for local ADs. It makes business sense to say that, and the law allows it. They would be at a disadvantaged if they don't use this leeway.

But having interacted with MI, I've to say that if you have problems with the car, they will TRY to help you out. The extent of their help depends on your level of persistence and luck.

That was what I though.

Started going to the showroom in Oct when price for FNA was 116,800.

Then it dropped to $113,800 in Nov, was planning to buy then but decided to wait for next bid.

After the last COE bid, dropped to 108,800.

After the last COE bidding, I think the COE will go up for the next 2 bidding and there is also suppose to be a carshow in Jan that may push the COE up.

If COE goes up for next 6 bids and MI get it for me, make money as secure higher COE.

If COE goes up for next 6 bids and MI did not get COE for me, then refund deposit and wait out for next year if COE drop again.

I am driving a 12 yr old Hyundai Tucson, still got 3 years to go, can wait.

If COE goes down, shouldn't lose too much money because at 104,800, do not think it can go down too much. But could be wrong.

Hi, so you bought the FNA at 104,800? Great price

The GPS that comes with my HU is a Garmin. It was included in my package - no additional cost. The user manual that comes with it is titled GVN60 Subaru. I was told that the map upgrades is additional cost although MI cannot tell me what is the cost.

The look and feel of the Forester GPS is very similar to the stand alone Garmin sets. My unit does not support voice recognition and traffic information (my stand-alone set have both features) but other than that, it suits my needs. I supplement this with Waze on my mobile when I am travelling in Malaysia as the maps and traffic information is more up to date with Waze.

These days the gps module is not part of the package but optional.

When I was booking my ride, the SE said that the GPS is not included as they have received a lot of complains.Do not know if true.

List price was 108,000. 4k discount was due to Trade-in + 6 Bids NG + model discount.

Let's see if we get the COE.

Well done bro, IMO, you have a good chance.

And you have proven that even if you renew a COE for only 5 years, it's worth it.

I'm very keen about getting the 2.0 FNA but worried about the resale value and petrol consumption.  Wife was considering HRV or QQ but given this price range Forester might be more worthwhile.  Anyone consider HRV or QQ before committing to Forester?

Someone considered FNA, QQ and C4 Picasso before. Maybe you could use that as a reference. But take it with a pinch of salt. :D
