Hard is an overstatement. Soft and flimsy is a more fitting description. Lol. I must say the dashboard is quite sturdy though despite dated.

Bro, was that in the past? I was there recently and there is a returned car to do rectification and the boss honoured it leh. Hmmm...

Bro. Did you experience any significant noise reduction when changed to primacy? I assume its st3?

The primacy 3 I had is.m not st3. St is made in Thailand for local climate. The without st is for European climate, in short parallel import. Michelin and Bridgestone in terms of comfort and noise totally heaven and earth ...

My guess is that should be same.

Subaru don't have that much R&d $ to create or manufacture so many different engines at the same time.

So if same cc and power should be same engine.

May i know what brand/model is the stock tyre for fna?

Yokohama Geolandar 225/60/17

Odd size tire with very limited replacement choices.

I think no more FXT from Sep 17 because it us not Euro 6 compliant and LTA requires all petrol cars to be Euro 6 from 1 Sep 17 onwards.

Harrier Turbo is Euro 6 so will be the car of choice for many families going forward.

MY17 Forester in SG as well as EU should be from Japan. Euro 6 came into force in EU from Sep 2014. Our XT should be euro 6 as well then since it is still the same SJ engine.

Thanks for the advice bro. I have been using the st3 but just wonder how it perform on a heavier suv as always tried it on lighter cars.

Hi Newkid,

Provided getting the COE but my booked FXT will be in Oct/Nov and one bro mentioned last order arriving in Nov/Dec.

This should then not be because of Euro 6 compliant but the VES w.e.f. 1 Jan 2018 which Harrier Turbo meets (and perhaps why response of same 350Nm differs):

For primacy 3 on fxt, u can just simply pump 230kpa all round when cold. It will ride almost like a magic carpet despite the slightly softer side walls compared to latitude sports. U can pump 240-250 kpa for slightly lesser body roll but can be kinda bumpy.

I'll probably go back to primacy 3 after my current Pirelli cinturato balds...

Cheers,

Seems like Euro 6 petrol start Sep 17. Euro 6 diesel start 1 Jan 18.

Best to check with car agent. I also lost in the govt's implementation.

For FNA - checked with Bridgestone Singapore on their new Alenza 001 tires and other suitable for the FNA We are stuck and have no other much limited choice for that size???

Below is official reply:

<<< After verifying, we regret to inform you that the 225/60 R17 is not available in any of our tyre line-ups. You may have to return to your OE tyre manufacturer if you need to get your tyres replaced.

We will not be recommending any changes to your tyre specifications as any change may potentially affect the comfort level of your ride, performance of your car on the road, safety, etc.

Thank you.>>>

Both FNA and FXT are already Euro6.

FXT will be in C2 VES band while FNA will be B (but FNA need to submit PM data in July 2018).That's my understanding.

For the Yokohama Geolandar stock tyres (Fna), last weekend they are selling at $100 per piece (Kansha promotion). Not sure of the actual retail price.

Did a quick check and tyres that are suitable for Fna are:

1) Pirellis P7 Cinturato 225/60/17  99V -- $248 (Kim Hoe website)

2) Yokohamma Geolandar G91 225/60/17 99V -- $220 (Kim Hoe website)

3) Kumho Solus TA31 225/60 R17 99H -- $145.54 (TypePac website)
