Frankly I only heard of dealers cutting more and more of the offer price for anything they can find or think of. Increase in offer price because of mods, 1st time.

Unless they already lowball enough to have the extra 2k over their projected profit margin to play with.

Only if you sell to direct buyers then mods are worth something. When I sold my LGT to direct buyer, stage 1.5 mod with endless bbk, prodrives, aluminium front swing arms, bilstein/eibach suspension, various carbon fibre bits for quite a good price.

That's why I quickly said ok ma.

And my car was sold within two weeks. Traded at 65k, they posted at 73.8k. dunno what's the final price they sold at.

Motor image only offered me 53k :/

Motor Image in-house H## Ya@@ offers crap price for trade-in vehicles.

At MI TP, you see the guy sitting at one corner with the laptop.

Well, 2015 forester was proven to be a beast, so I'm going for '17 Forester next month on DSRLeasing as they offered me really terrific deal lease! Can't wait to post pics here.  [bounce1]

Can anyone else share what is your FC for Forester I Premium model?

Showroom shows 6.5l/100km but seems too good to be true.

It depends. Long distance n light footed (under 2k rpm) will yield 7+l/100km. Short distances will be about 17l/100km so it varies.

Just enjoy the ride cos awd is shiok n i just want to floor it everytime whilst on expressways

I've never gotten 7+... even if I'm very light footed, I only managed 8.9... arggh

Yes it is too good. With 80% highway, the most I've gotten is around 8+L/ 100km which I think is pretty good as it is. On normal days, mine averaged 11+l/ 100km....which again isn't worse than my previous Skyactive equipped ride.

Anyway, as some of the more experienced bros here say... you don't buy the Forester because it's frugal. Even for the FNA, it's pretty eager to rev.... though I always wonder if I should've stretched for the FXT! LOL

By the way, anyone here upgraded their FNA speakers? Added soundproofing to their doors?

Can share experience? Worth it?

Mine is FNA, just clocked 10K distance recently. Average FC from day1 till now is 8.6l/100km.As mentioned from other bros, daily, per trip FC varies widely. Start from cold engine in the morning, consumption is higher and will take a bit longer time to drop. Short and long trips make a lot of difference. Start stop at slow traffics is also a killer for fuel. Constant driving between 60 and 80km/h gives best economy. My best figure on long express way drive came in at 5.2l/100k. Of in which case, I have to sacrifice driving fun. Hope this helps.

Thanks all for the reply.

Savvy, does your forester comes with the start stop feature?

Nope, mine didn't come with it. Is there such an option for The S'pore models?

Is I-premium same as FNA? I think the I-premium comes with start stop feature.

Same. The current batch of FNA comes w start stop.

My ave FNA FC after 24k km is abt 11km/ltr. 70-30 city, high way.

The newer subaru cars have decent FC, so no worries.

Not sure if its the right place to ask, but anyone installed the brake cyclinder stopper to improve brake pedal feel?
